I've put in about 5 hours into the game. So far, it's amazing. It's like GTA 5, but refined. I was already OCD about looting every corpse in my area, now I'm the same way with drawers and cabinets. I swear it's gonna take me 100 hours to finish this game. My cons so far, like GTA 5, has been the controls. They just don't feel as responsive as I'd like. It's little things like trying to hitch my horse to a post and stuff. But that's literally the only negative I have.

popped game out of mailbox and put disc 1 in and headed back to work. How long before you have to put in disc 2? and how long does disc 2 take to install? gotta give it to amazon and release day delivery.

about half way through (around 45 min) I had to put in disc 2... My internet Is pretty slow also

I bought the game and it’s a few min away from installing, only problem is I use my IPhone hotspot and this update is gonna take 14 hours to download lol.

Should I be ok starting without the update?

Will my game be affected when the download finally finishes and I’m already a few hours into the game?

For the people playing in hdr what calibration value did you set for max luminance? It says to go with 100 for LCD and 300 for Oled, but i find 100 too dim for hdr. I set it to about about 400 then started working my way down. I was trying to get a good mix of details and brightness.

I'll have to check it out again when i get off work.

I hope they add letting us run in camp like they did with the gta houses eventually. I have no idea why they insist on making us walk slowly all the time.

If you hold A or X you'll walk faster in the forced walking areas.

I'm playing on my Pro now and I have it maxed out. I thought it might be too much but going from the snowy area to the sunny side it feels right. I know in AC Origins maxing it out was too much, with RDR2 I feel like its good. Then again, my 1X is on a Samsung OLED in my den; my Pro is on a 4K Sharp Aueos or something.

You can do both. I always skin for crafting purposes then you can take the carcass back to camp or a vendor.

I'm playing on a Bravia X900E. It looked good at about 380-400 l, but i thought some details looked a little blown out.

I'm trying not to touch any picture settings on the actual TV.
