Yeah I was really feeling it in the beginning but have settled down a bit now as I have learned more. I like just riding around doing side missions and hunting. I'm 46 also and have gotten to a point with a lot of games that I just want to have fun and get through it, don't care about wanting to feel good about getting a challenge. With this one here though i'm going slow and want to enjoy it. Game is so amazing, i'm loving it.

Question...how has it been for those of you that have gone full on Outlaw. Was thinking of going this route but seems like always getting chased and shot at would get kind of annoying. I went to an area where I'm wanted Dead or Alive and not sure I want to get to that point. heh

            Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Guys try some of my suggestions for HDR.

For some TVs you may need to increase or decrease the contrast and color/saturation, adjust black levels, use color and contrast enhancing options.

Make sure your Brightness is at max and your contrast is between 95-100

For Samsung's depending on how much color you like set it to 60 and incense or decrease.

For Sony's particularly the X900 series you can set color between 65-80 because it's hard to oversaturate.

Set any color enhancement feature to high, then medium, then low and choose what looks best to you.

Set black levels and contrast enhancing ti medium or high.

For Xbox One X or One make sure HDR is checked in the picture settings or the picture will be washed out.

Don't play in game mode if you want good colors, play in movie or custom. I play on a edited setting cinema pro mode on my XBR X900E

Just a few questions. How do I get a fishing rod? And also I’ve been trying to find a pipe and a fountain pen for two people at the camp but haven’t come across them yet. Are they in a general store or do you just come across them while out in the world?

Fishing rod is unlocked through a mission.

I usually just find items like that looting buildings.

Been having a blast just wondering around hunting. Take it to the butcher then head back out into the wilderness.

I'll get back to missions at some point but am just taking all this epic game in right now

Fishing pole comes from a mission. Or if you see someone fishing with a pole you can could probably ask them nicely to borrow it. That's what outlaws do I think. Ask nicely.

I found item requests randomly as treasure. I mean, by asking strangers nicely for gifts.

Does anyone know how long it takes for animal carcasses to decompose? I always feel like I'm in a race against the clock after I take something down and it'd be nice if I knew I could relax a little.

I came across the pen in a mission with Uncle and the girls. It builds into a whole thing and you need to make a particular decision.

Well I sorta accidentally killed my horse today. I was approaching a coach robbery & I got off my horse to help. Only problem was it was near a railroad track. I heard a train coming but wasn't paying attention to where my horse was. I then heard a thud & looked over to see my horse laying dead on the ground. On behalf of my defense it was night time. I did salvage the saddle as it had my belongings. No way was I walking all the way back to camp with my saddle in hand. So I waited for the first poor soul to ride by & stole his horse. All I'll say is he didn't go quietly.
