Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Limbs come off, too, from shotgun blasts or trains running their bodies over as well.
Running with a revolver in one hand and the sawed off in the other results in a great mixture of gore and feeling like the hero in a movie as you blow people to bits. Not going to lie, I feel pretty bad when in some firefights I just slowly walk forward picking off people with a revolver or two. The shooting is so satisfying in this game so when I am against a large group that is on the poorer side of shooting skills I'll totally just walk in the open picking them off.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

The Springfield with high velo bullets....whew baby. It goes through people like a knife through butter.
I'm rocking dual revolvers too. Sawed off is nice but I find it too unbalanced for my liking.
Pump action shotty is straight death close range.
I have also leveled up these weapons fully, and have given them fully customized metals and engravings.
I must have dumped $2000+ into my guns.Too Old To Game Club

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I'm somebody that has really lost touch with my gaming. Only play sports games now. Sprinkled in with a little uncharted.
You think this is a game that would just draw me in regardless?

Really depends on how you'll feel about playing for hours without doing much of anything in terms of progress.

It's a real slow burn, though I guess you could speed it up a bit by blowing through missions. But I feel you lose what makes the world so interesting.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
To add, if you're a big fan of westerns and the time period then that would help with enjoyment. It's definitely a game that can overwhelm you in a way that may not necessarily be bad, but turns some away.
I've spent too many nights in a row where I got hours in each sitting and never did any missions. The hunting in this game is great and very time consuming for someone like me, but I'll admit now that I have some cash after making it a few chapters in I don't hunt near as much because it's not as quick of a way to rake money in once you unlock other activities. It isnt useless and I still do it for supplies and money, though.
If I had one complaint about the hunting its that I feel there are too many animals around at times. Just feels too dense. I don't want it to turn into a hunting sim where you sit in a blind for 2 hours and see 3 deer total, but there are times where I look down the river or coast of the lake and see 20+ deer and it's easy to get a few. Maybe back then deer were that prevalent, I've not a clue.
Anyways, see how deep a post can go on about one aspect of the game and I didn't even divulge too deep into it? That's the type of game RDR2 is.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Well, you got me all curious about your question. Looks like they have source materials in their claim; Interesting how the population has grown back over the years.
Deer Population The total United States deer population in 2021 was about 35.2 million, up from a recent low of 32.2 million in 2014, down from the recent peak in 2000 of 38.1 million deer. In 2021 there were about 31.7 million whitetails and 3.5 million mule and blacktail deer. Use the drop
