I can’t seem to get to the fishing pole mission. I have completed around 9 missions in chapter 2, and the story says that I’m 14% completed. Am
I missing something, or do I have to get further in to the story yet? I know where you get the pole from, just curious about how far in to the game I have to get before the opportunity pops up?

Nice. Thanks for the info guys. Appreciate it. Buying the guide today and picking up tomorrow. Thanks.

        That's a damn good idea!

Contrarily, I actually pulled out the physical map that came with the game the othe night for reference while playing, I wanted to find St. Denis and hadn't discovered it yet.

Once I got to the city I sat and watched a show. Can't say I've ever done either before.

I'll just spoiler what part of chapter 2 the fishing pole mission is in.

RDR was one of my favorite games ever but I'm having a hard time with this one. There are tedious parts that really frustrate me. A couple times now, I have been alerted to sleep. Ive spent way too long trying to find a spot to sleep, build a camp, be alerted that I am unable to build a camp, and spend time traveling back to the main camp just to sleep so I can continue. I end up losing the desire to continue playing and turn it off. Is there a tip I am missing? I feel I am making it way harder than it should be?

Been in California the last 8 days for a funeral and look forward to flying home tomorrow to tackle this game. I left off on post #1243 and plan to catch up tonight on what’s been happening with everyone and this game. I can only imagine the craziness that you all have experienced.

You can build a camp practically anywhere outside of towns. What is the notification telling you when it doesn't let you build a camp? Shouldn't have an issue at all, I mean, literally 90+% of the map is available to setup a camp in.

I get the alert "there is too much activity near by".

I've never had such an alert about needing to sleep or activities nearby. Maybe I just sleep enough myself to counter such a thing.

I just try to sleep every couple game days. Between the camp, hotels and portable camp it’s pretty easy to get done. If I end up at my main camp during night I’ll sleep then usually.

Honeymoon over and As good as the game is.. something just isn't the same...
I'm enjoying it for the most part but it doesnt give me the same "feels" As RDR1
I'll keep playing it here and there obviously however, as it's a good game overall.

Never gotten that. You may be trying to camp too close to a gang hideout or mission objective?

Only time I've seen that warning was when I was near a legendary animal's territory.

It said "You've entered a legendary animal's territory but there is too much activity to hunt it right now".
