PETA gonna get this video shut down though with what y'all did to those horses lol.

Me whiffing on that tackle attempt had both of us in tears when in happened. We couldn't do anything for the next few minutes from laughing too much, lol.

Both of us jumping at each others horses and me tripping my horse was also another one that had us dying when it happened. We never tell each other we are jumping towards the other, we both just love how funny the mechanic is. And the final clip where I tried turning around and went off the bridge had me dying. That was at the end of the night when you're tired and everything gets 10x funnier because of it. The noise of my face hitting that metal support was too much for me at that stage.

I’m almost at 300 dollars after like 5 hours of online play. I can smell the bolt action!

I was neasrly at $400, but I wanted a fishing pole and to make my posse permanent. $200 just for a permanent posse.

One thing that is irritating me right now is how often your camp gets packed up and moved. Why? I pay $7 in total for a large camp in Bayou NWA and go half a mile away to go catfish fishing and my camp gets move to Gaptooth Ridge all the way across the map 10 minutes later. I'm hoping this is a bug and not Rockstar's way of making you spend more money on camps.

I do nothing at my camp. It’s totally useless since it bounces around and I always seem to be miles from it. I’m guessing it’s to accommodate a camp already being in that spot. When you get thrown back into a free roam.

            Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

I'd understand if you are spawning in and a camp is where your camp was last and it is moved because of that. But when I am close enough to my camp to see it while I fish it's irritating for it to move across the map when I planned on going back by the fire to cook what caught and pick up my deliveries. I am going to assume it's a bug at this point. There are plenty of them in Online to this point.

For laughs, check out this catalog from real life 1898 and compare the prices to Online. There seems to be a bit more of an uproar over the prices in Online compared to GTA Online. At least when GTA Online launched everything was reasonably priced. You could do a mission or two and buy most of the base guns. Right now you can do 10 missions and get $50 and most guns in the game are in the hundreds.

I know as each content update happened in GTA the game saw more and more ridiculous levels of inflation. To see this game's online launch with those levels of inflation isn't all too surprising, but it is disappointing. Hopefully they do tweak quite a bit once this moves on from the Beta phase. The uproar from the community seems loud enough that some change may actually happen. I do want you to have to work to get money and quality items, but the way it is right now you could play the story online over 5 times and not even afford a pump shotgun.

Yeah like I said earlier I’m looking at close to 10 hours of play just to get a bolt action rifle and that will literally be the only thing I spend money on during that 10 hours with the exception of a few horse edibles and ammo. Really not sure what the point of unlocking that rifle like 5 levels in was. Kind of silly.

The online free roam portion is literally the least fun I've ever had in an online game. Spawn in, die, person shoots my horse. Respawn, get rolled up on and killed by 3 people. Money grind is ridiculous, aim lock on combined with radar blips being always on is literal cancer. Someone shouldn't be able to kill you and then literally run right back to you and kill you again because you are ALWAYS on radar. Honestly makes me never want to touch online again. Needs to be private session lobbies.

I hope Rockstar is getting good feedback from the mature community that is playing the online beta.

How strange. I've seen so much cooperation and just overall "chill-ness" online. Hardly at all have I seen random killings and when it happens after I kill them a few times it's over. Most people spam the waving emote in all the lobbies I've played in.

Your experience is what I expected it to be like, GTA was like that times, but I've been pleasantly surprised by the community I've witnessed so far.

GTA at least had passive mode and the ability to spawn at your owned house.. On this game I've loaded into being shot by a posse. There's also nothing better than riding my horse for 10 minutes to get to a treasure map location only to have to leave the game without getting my treasure because people simply won't leave me the **** alone. Some dudes messed with me and my cousin for 15 minutes straight whether they killed us, or we killed them.. had to leave session without my treasure reward because it was seemingly never ending.

I don’t see much to do in the online world after you run through the story missions. It needs a lot of work. Sure you can do some hunting for money but you get essentially no xp. You could also do some stranger missions for xp but you get no money. I can see why they slapped the beta tag on this. There is nothing here.

The more I play it the more I see that there really isn't much to do. No chance this ever surpasses GTA Online.

I don’t think anyone here is. I just mentioned that it is in beta. It is what it is though. The game is grindy as hell and there really is nothing to grind. Prices are outrageous on items and there is no fun way to earn money. A lot of work to do like I said in my last post.

I'm just not sure what people expect from a beta version. Of course it's not going to have everything the final version will. If it did, it wouldn't be called beta.

It's like complaining that a Madden beta only has H2H and a season mode or something.
