I'm just impressed you played from start to finish in like six days. I don't have that kind of attention span for any game.

I was sucked in big time. I really immersed myself in the environments and simply could not put the game down. I played in 4-5 hour chunks and finished it in just under 30 hours.

I also completed Days Gone this year and that took me almost 60 hours. However it took me months to finish.

I love Apocalyptic dystopian games. My next one is going to be Metro Exodus. But that will come after Cyberpunk 2077 (which I hope is as good as I think it will be). That game will take over 75-85 hours easy.

If a game has a great story, I get sucked in and don’t stop till I am done. Thats why I have been able to finish:

Red Dead 1 and 2
Dead Space Series
Mass Effect Series
Days Gone
Last Of Us 1 and 2
Uncharted Series

The Stories and characters carry those games (as well as the awesome environments, music, sound effects etc).

I never finished Fallout 4 (still playing that thing lol) because the story is kinda meh for me. I like some of the faction stories.....but I lose interest after a few dozen hours and then come back to it.

I am about 60% of the way through The Witcher 3 (a great character driven story no doubt). What is a little overwhelming though is the amount of things going on at the same time terms of quests. Also I am not a fan of the combat. I think that is a weak area of the game overall. I will finish it, but will focus on the story more and notch down the difficulty to just the story mode. I love the story....but not the game mechanics itself. A beautiful game, incredible acting.

Skyrim is a game I am playing my second character on and this time I doing everything it has to offer. We are over 200 hours in now, finished The Main Story, Dawnguard, The Thieves Guild and we are now doing our Dark Brotherhood Run. After that on to The Mages College of Winterhold, then for the first time doing The Bards College. Then we will finish up the Dragon Born expansion and wrap it up igniting the Civil War. I will then continuing adventuring around the map and try to discover all of it. And that’ll be a wrap on a game we started playing what? In 2011.

I think Skyrim has been the game of games. Truly the greatest RPG I have ever played. It is everything we dreamed about when we used to play D&D in 1984 with our dice, and dungeons drawn on paper!!! Lord. Those were the days.

This thread deserves a bump, and I'm with Sword ... one of the best video game stories ever told.

The fact that I enjoyed Abby's missions better knowing everything she did is the biggest accomplishment they could ever ask for with me.

I hope they give this a PS5 upgrade as they did GOW. I'll play it back on Grounded in a heart beat.

After 2 play throughs and over 60 hours, I platinumed this amazing game. And yet, if a PS5 patch were to ever drop, I would download it instantly and jump right into this game again. Upon the casting of Joel and Ellie being announced for the HBO show, I fired up the first game. I don't know if anyone thinks about this about the first one when playing it present day, but that game was a PS3 game. And it still holds up so well. However, the gameplay in part 2 is on a whole other level of depth and amazingness. Just like the first game pushed the PS3 to its absolute limits, it's crazy to play Part 2 and see it as a PS4 game. It's that damn good, and good looking to boot. Naughty Dog are some straight up wizards haha. Can only imagine what they'll be able to do with the power of the PS5. I can't wait to find out.

After an event in this game and the forced fed narrative I gave up on this game. Its amazing how something so great in TLOU can turn out so ****ty in part 2.

Luckily Hades and Ghost of Tsushima were there for me.

Its crazy how hyped I was with the announcement. Hell I made this thread.

Looking forward to playing through this again when I give myself some downtime. I've been busy with DIY house stuff and it's nearing completion so this is my reward to myself, haha. Absolutely loved the first game; the second is just as good in story and gameplay blows it out of the water.

Already put in 60+ hours playing through this twice and getting the platinum on PS4. But I knew if something like this came out I’d be downloading it instantly, which I did lol. Started playing it and the 60fps is great. I’ll definitely be playing this for a while now haha everything else I was playing just took a back seat.

Played through the last of us 1+2 for the second time over the past few weeks. Definitely worth doing, both amazing games. It’s amazing how well the first one held up considering it was a ps3 game

So playing on the hardest difficulty...and i found out the hard way that higher difficulties enemies hear you reloading and cocking the guns if they're close. Welp.
