No, it's 4 vs 4 and it's amazing. Later on there started to be some cheating, but overall it's one of the best multiplayer shooters I've played - so violent and so fun. The gunplay was great and it was a weird mix too because you could upgrade your stuff and choose your weapons to an extent which was a huge part of the strategy. You could also compete with pistols where most games they are pretty much there just' cause' because most of the time you wouldn't stand a chance.

Stunning someone, then finishing them up close is the one most visceral things in any game.

around 5 minutes there is some gory shank action and at the end a few blowing heads off with the sniper.

I played the crap out of the MP lol, it was so good that I'd be tempted to pick up a ps5 just for that assuming it was the same format of just humans vs humans and similar gameplay

I've probably set my expectations higher than they should be, but I'm excited about the possibility of multiplayer returning in TLOU2.

With shooting and combat being so much better in the sequel, I think it would be hard for them to mess it up. Just give us more of what we got the first time around.

My expectations are through the roof and for good reason

I can't wait for Factions again. Scars vs WLF is gonna be sick. All the brutal kills, the weapons, and even the potential maps that they can use from the campaign are going to be great. Only question now is if it'll be ready for the PS5

Took me almost 29 hours and the last 5 hours or so I was just ready for it to be over.

I'll just say this. I loved the story of this game despite a lot of people not liking what they did to Joel (who wasn't that great of a person despite his actions in the first game.)


Totally get why people wouldn't like that game, but i just disagree that the story doesn't jibe with the first game.

Just finished this up a few days ago, and I certainly see why it's so divisive. I'll leave my own mini-review just to add to the feedback.

Graphics/Visuals (10/10) - Perfect 10 from me in terms of graphics. I really felt like I was touring (a post-apocolyptic) Seattle throughout it's chapters. The dark, cramped, infected-filled environments gave a true feeling of anxiety/fear.

Gameplay (8/10) - I did enjoy the new mechanics (tall-grass hiding, long jumping, rope mechanics), but the game still overwhelmingly feels like Part 1. I don't think the gameplay is bad, but it feels worse than it is due to the length of the game. It's just not engaging enough to hold up for 25 - 30 hours. I think this is why many folks say it gets repetitive or that they just wanted to "get throught it" by the end.

Story (4/10) - Oh man, the story. I feel like I could write a novel about how much I disliked the story. Just to get it out there, the social justice/identity politics/sexualty stuff didn't bother me at all. I'm fine with all that. To keep my overall thoughts short I'll say this; if they wanted to make the plot a revenge-based, murder spree I wish they would have left Ellie and Joel out of it. Plenty of other ways to tell that story.

Overall (7/10) - Not a bad game; not as great as it could have been. I also feel like they may have alienated a huge chunk of their fanbase if they're going to keep this franchise going.

I am on the Abby chapters now and I am going to flat out say I think this is even better than the First game.

This is a very dark, gritty and so far tragic story. And I am totally engrossed in it.

The set pieces have been simply amazing thus far.

I am blazing through this game. And so far this is my GOTY no doubt. I am playing it in 4-5 hour chunks and my wife has been giving me the evil eye lol.

Look forward to completing it over the next week.

Just in time to the start Cyberpunk.

Now heading to Santa Barbra. I am exhausted. The story for me has been am amazing journey into the deepest darkest depths of revenge and the fall of humanity.

God help us if we ever have a zombie apocalypse LOL!!!

These people are all brutal and savage. Any ounce of humanity was gone in Part 2 save for Abby with Lev and his sister.

I will finish this today. And without finishing it up I can easily say I liked it better than part 1.

Abby was my favorite character by far.

And in the end here I have been rooting for her a lot. The loss she has suffered has been tremendous.
