Re: The Last of Us Part 2 (PS4)
I finished TLOU two summers ago on PS4. I got somewhat far on PS3 at the time (not enough to ever change the "season," though the other seasons are substantially shorter), but then replayed it on PS4 to get that 60 FPS and whatnot.
I remember a lot of end story bits, but I kind of want to re-remember them, specifically one of the very, very last moments. I could just watch that one cut scene, but I'd like to watch the rest of them. I saw some cinematic videos on YouTube basically playing a lot of the cut scenes and necessarily gameplay components, but the first guy I watched who played out the opening portion of the game was annoying as hell. Feel free to watch it to see what I mean.

We'll see if I continue watching him. Until then, bring on this game! I don't know why, but I thought the game was playable today... I got really disappointed when I got on my PS4 last night and saw 2D 23:--:--Comment

Re: The Last of Us Part 2 (PS4)
Picked it up earlier today (Wednesday lol). I'm still trying to finish Assassin's Creed Odyssey and it's DLC so I won't be playing it for at least another two weeks. I'm still excited though [emoji16][emoji1474]

Re: The Last of Us Part 2 (PS4)
I think my greatest problem for me will be how shall I play this? There's five difficulty levels to choose from starting with Very Light up to Survivor. Then there's this 6th difficulty level that permits you to customize your experience which looks like a real good option to pick. Start at Survivor and customize from there. Maybe taking x-amount of time just customizing it? See what I mean.
The sixth “custom” difficulty and it’s pretty darn clever. This allows players to change the dial on individual gameplay elements and mechanics (from Very Light to Survivor), tailoring the game’s toughness in a way that is rarely ever seen in video games. Here’s a quick breakdown:
Player – adjusts the amount of damage taken from enemies and the frequency of mid-encounter dynamic checkpoints.
Enemies – adjusts firearm accuracy, aggression, and tactical thinking of enemies. Melee combos are more complex with certain enemy types gaining movement speed.
Allies – adjusts the effectiveness and killing power of companion characters.
Stealth – adjusts enemy perception and how hard they pursue the player once line of sight is broken.
Resources – adjusts quantity of ammo and supplies found as well as the durability of melee weapons and crafting yields.

Re: The Last of Us Part 2 (PS4)
If Survivor is what I think/recall it implements, it removes things like the listening/eavesdropping mode and maybe removes checkpoints.
I don't mind the game being hard, but I'd like to keep those two things in play. Either I'll do the step right below Survivor, or I'll customize Survivor and ease up on those two other elements.
It seems your above post brings up the latter regarding checkpoints, but I don't see the "listening" feature showing up. Maybe TLOU 2 doesn't have it? I can't remember whether or not Ellie was able to "listen" when we played as her in Winter, or if we needed to. Maybe it was only a Joel trait.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Lol.....I can't remember either. I also never played the remastered version with Survivor Mode. I did watch a YouTube Overview (not the one you posted but it did give me the idea) of the First Version just so I can reacclimate myself to the story. Not that I forgotten but watching it again made me realize this was a 14 year old kid back then. Grant it a tough one.Comment

Re: The Last of Us Part 2 (PS4)
I thought I had this game set for in-store pickup at Best Buy since I pre-ordered it at the same time as MLB The Show 20, but according to a text and e-mail it's being shipped to me. I get it sometime tomorrow between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Darn it, I was hoping to pick it up in store at opening (10:00 AM, I think?). The only reason I would've done the shipping option is because in-store pickup was likely not available as an option.
Oh well, I'll get to play it at some point!

Re: The Last of Us Part 2 (PS4)
6 more hours until I shut out the rest of the world for a bit LOL.
Ill definitely be playing on Survivor Custom. Not sure what Ill be setting everything at but the plan is to have enemy health low so a couple pistol bullets kills them as would be in real life, but I want them to be RUTHLESS as far as sealth and attacking AI is concerned, and resources will be bare.
I want to tailor it to be more of a positioning battle rather than pure gunfight per se.PSN / Xbox GT - BLUEnYELLOW28Comment

Re: The Last of Us Part 2 (PS4)
I’m guessing would be a wise idea to play Part 1 before playing this?
