Sell low level gear. Disassemble all else. If you get desperate, you can sell the disassembled material for more than the actual weapons sold for.

One thing I am doing in this game is getting through levels and finding that I missed a few Kodama. So after I level up some more, I revisit these areas and locate the rest. Some are very well tucked away. Great fun. Find a piece of equipment that has Kodama sense on it to help you locate the little buggers on the mini map.

He's the one boss I refuse to help people do. One false move and it's over. Had a couple co op runs take him down to 10% and the host blows it by falling off map.

Yeah. I've had summoned people fall off. I've also had us get him down pretty good only to his crazy attack pretty much one shot them.

He's quite the opponent

Just got this game. Wow, I agree with all you blokes, it is so hard to put down even when you die a fair bit. I'm going for a skill/dexterity build with a few points in stamina. I'm still early on. Can't get past the first boss, not the one in the prison but the one on the island.

I've taken to farming fools to level up. I can now walk through pretty much every human enemy but occasionally my arrogance has led to some humiliating failures.

I have taken down most Revenants and it's so satisfying to feel like I have attained a level of competence to match these challenges.

Nioh has definite Ninja Gaiden influences. The speed of combat and the visual flair of the move set is more appealing to me than the slower games in this genre. I'm weildng dual swords and the kurasigama. I originally was looking to go with spears as the secondary but haven't got the confidence to use them contextually as I do with the others.

Nioh has such depth I in so many areas. Cool game.

Be glad to give you a hand if you want.

Use some water protection, flame talismans on offense and choose a fire based guardian spirit and use the moment talismans/and or onyo magic spells to hurt him. Stay out of the center of the area because he has a 1-hit kill attack he shoots out. And watch we're you are going because you can fall in the water numerous places. It's a tough fight, but doable. Don't be afraid to get help.

Finally made it back to the second (I guess 3rd if you could Derrick the Executioner) boss and she's gonna be a tough nut the crack. Just going to spend some time studying her moves and try not to die while devising a plan of attack.

Yup, those needles are really useful for her.

Also, the one move where she paralyzes you, she yells before she does it. Get ready to dodge toward her so you can land some hits. All of her other moves are blockable if you don't trust your ability to dodge her other attacks.

Sold out all over Toronto as well, Bestbuy or EBGames (our version of Gamestop) are all out. I don't think they ordered many to begin with but still, good for Team Ninja, bad for me as I want it but don't want to go digital.

Theres some at my gamestop and Target. Should I ne getting them? Lol.

Finished the story and completed one of the two sub-missions that open up. I tried like twenty times, but just couldn't do one of them, then went and completed the main epilogue mission. Might dive into Way of the Strong (NG+) if the DLC is any good.

Nioh is easily Team Ninja's best work since Ninja Gaiden Black. Mechanically it's so solid and simply fun to play. I thought it dragged a bit in the second-half though, because by the midway point you've pretty much seen everything the game's going to throw at you. More memorable looking environments and enemy variety are things that can easily be improved in a hopeful sequel, and this game certainly deserves one.
