Is H2 worth buying for the single player mode alone? My Live subscription is about to run out and I did not plan on renewing it due to the fact that I haven't really used it the past year. Assuming I let it expire is Halo 2 still a worthy purchase?

I think it depends on how much you like FPS games. Personally, I wouldn't own it without Live. If you still have Live when/if you buy it I would bet you'd renew it. I played last night for about 3 hours....stayed up way later than I should've because it felt like I'd been on for about 20 minutes. It is a ton of fun....esp. with all the guys from here.

First, I don't have XBXL and I still think it is a must buy. Co-op and Split-screen and System Link will keep you going for a long time.

One thing I wanted to point out, and I don't know if this has been posted, but in co-op you CANNOT ride on the side of the tank. Marines do it. But you can't. It's ******** because your buddy has to find a nother vehicle or walk.

Hey Boltman - I just spent the entire afternoon (I got Veteran's Day off) troubleshooting my Linksys wireless system I got today.

I had to set a static IP, download firmware for the wireless adapter, make sure everything lined up (SSID, WEP, etc.) and then finally turn off the UPnP (plug and play) to get it to work.

If I ever meet someone from Linksys, I might punch them in the face.

I am going to walk my dog and then finally, finally get on Xbox Live for the first time ever and frag someone (hopefully a Linksys employee).

Okay, I just finished the Campain, and I must say that the ending is the Stupidest thing ever. Cliffhanger doesn't even beggin to describe.


Also, for anybody that bet the game on Herioc and Legendary, is the ending different, like in Halo 1.

No, the ending isnt differnt on Legendary and campaign mode isnt really that great compared to Halo. Online is great but I still dont like some of the changes they made. If this game wasnt online I would be disappointed with it but the campaign mode is enjoyable.

Online is so freakin addicting. I haven't picked up GTA: SA since i got Halo 2. Playing online with 16 players with rocket launchers only or on the new Battle Creek with just plasma swords is the most fun i've ever had playing a videogame. I just got finishing playing with only plasma swords and ended up having 102 kills. We were playing up to 250. I was owning everybody. There's so many different match types you can play. I'll be playing this game until Halo 3 drops.

I still think that the ending is going to be downloadable content. From the rumors I have read, I don't think they are going to have a Halo 3 for awhile and they are holding back on the big announcement for the last level or so...
This is the biggest game on the Xbox, don't you think they would have something set on Live for it?
