there is also a whole other thing to worry about after you get everything running, and that is securing your network, You want to secure your wireless lan so others cant connect to your network and cause mayhem ( from a laptop, etc). So i suggest AFTER getting everything set up to learn about encrypting ( or using MAC identification) to secure any wireless devices that are trying to connect to your network.

Boltman, by default, a wireless router is broadcasting it's wireless information. All you need to do is set up the wireless bridge (that connects to the xbox). Alot of them are different, you need to read the instructions that came with the adapter. Also I believe by default the wireless routers use Channel 6, which is the middle of the frequency range for 802.11b. In 802.11b there are three non-overlapping channels you can use, 1, 6, and 11. You need to connect to your wireless bridge and make sure it is set to channel 6. For now, don't worry about setting up MAC address authentication, just get your WLAN up and running. If you have any questions, we will be able to answer them.

Too me the game is just a renter and I am glad I did just that. Not bad but nothing special either which was what was promised.

Well, you said you don't like XBox Live for undisclosed reasons, and if I couldn't play this game on Live I wouldn't even rent it. As for the grenades not having enough range, I don't get that one at all -they go plenty far for me. No disrespect, but your review disqualified the strongest feature of the game, it's online play capability, because you "don't like XBox Live".

Is H2 worth buying for the single player mode alone? My Live subscription is about to run out and I did not plan on renewing it due to the fact that I haven't really used it the past year. Assuming I let it expire is Halo 2 still a worthy purchase?

Switch your live account to a monthly subscription...get your fill of halo 2 and then cancel live.

By buddy got the game its pretty good i suck at it, but when i got that energy sword i sliced some ***.

I suck at aiming too and i think my buddy screen looks cause he always knew where i was.
