Playing in games with OS'ers makes online gaming intensely fun, I doubt I'd play as much online as I do without the great group of people here
I definitely agree. We had a great game yesterday during the day with about 10-12 of us...too bad Fetter dominated us all!

The other negative is the fact that there is apparently no "no shield" option(not even on the offline multi player game) which renders a "pistol only" match useless. I'm not crazy about "dual wielding", but if you don't do it in this game your not going to make it. The maps are nice, but I prefer the old "Battle Creek" to any of them. LAG is non existent.
I'm quoting myself to make a point. Forget the meat and potatoes of the pistol/no shields games. There are so many games variations, you'd be crazy to confine yourself to one or two. The shields are great and the duel weilding has enough downside (can't throw grenades) to allow you the option of going or not going with it in certain situations. I didn't think I'd get into the vehicles in Halo2, but they provide a lot of enjoyment especially on the larger maps. We played Juggernaunt for about an hour and a half and I was suprised what a great game it was. I'd like a clarification on whether the head shot is just as lethal as any body hit except when using a sniper rifle.

I never played Halo for the Xbox (I only played the PC) version and was worried I was going to get SMOKED online. I played with the guys last night.. man, it was a freakin' blast. I wasn't that bad either.. it'll definitely take some time to get used to the double analog sticks, aiming, etc. but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The multiplayer is simply the best for ANY game. The single-player is excellent as well. Not much more you can say about this game.

OK guys help me out here a bit, I am having problems getting my live working.

I just connected my Wireless Broadband Router to my PC, now what exactly do I need to have my X-Box downstairs online wire free?

Verizon said I need some type of game adapter? Is it something I plug into my jack slot on the back of my X-Box?

Will my Linksys then recognize my X-Box, and make it have online ability?

I just didnt want to run a line from my bedroom (where my PC is) all the way downstairs to where my X-Box is in my living room.

Any and All help is greatly appreciated.

ok, you have a wireless router, so now you need a wireless access port to put by the xbox. this looks similar to a router, it sends/recieves data to/from the router, and has some ethernet jacks in it. You then plug your xbox into that access point, so it then has wireless access to the router, and through that the outside world.

                            Does that make sense?

Cool game, and I don't even like 1st person shooters. They usually give me motion sickness. This one doesnt at least so far. I've been playing the single player campaign nonstop and havent even gone online yet.
