I enjoyed the first one, but the tacked on lore always felt odd to me. It's nice to see they've attempted to "reign" it in, but still weird considering the ending to the first game.

I planned on waiting for this until Christmas or after. There's just too many games coming out and of the ones I'm interested in I can see this hitting the Holiday sales at a bigger discount than the others.

I'm on the same boat. I see this as my next year Black Friday pick up. Which is just me admitting I have too many games and too little time for a time consuming one.

I did the same with Horizon. Hoping it has a great price this Black Friday so I can finally pick it up.

I'll see this thread in 2018.

As a largely offline game like UC or HZD, those types of games can always wait really.

I'm picking my copy up on Tuesday because EB Games had such an incredible trade promotion I had to put it towards something! They gave me C$30 for a PS3 controller (yes PS3! - had one lying around) along with some bonus game trades and I put it towards this game and still had credit left over. They had a double trade in value month in September in Canada too. Win-win!

If Assassin's Creed wasn't so enticing and Wolfenstein 2 weren't coming out then I would get this on day one. Yet, sacrifices must be made unfortunately.

Wouldn't recommend it. You'll burn yourself out because the core gameplay in shadow of war is the same, just a lot more of it. Also storywise you would not be missing much.

Which is exactly why I would recommend the first one. Pick up a game for $15 that is really good or pay$60+ for a game that is more of the same with a few added elements, loot crate crap and micro transactions.

Exactly what I was planning on doing. I loved the first one but there are other games that I plan on getting such as Wolfenstein and South Park. Wont have enough time to get into this one until later. I'll probably get this one on the Xbox one X.

lol. 65gb on the Windows Store, and apparently 95gb on Steam.

I like some of the tweaks to the formula. Some bad guys track me and show up, so it's not just a bunch of set pieces for me to stealth around / dive into. Was fighting an orc and he adapted mid-fight to what I was doing (think I was stunning or vaulting a lot). A time limit to get revenge on someone who downed you is a nice carrot on a stick, I'm going to go kill that ******* when I get home tonight.
