Some cutscenes also depict intense acts of violence: a man beaten to death with an orb; a child getting stabbed. Assassinations and fights are highlighted by cries of pain and large blood-splatter effects. One sequence depicts human body parts and blood in a cave; another scene briefly depicts a headless corpse impaled on a stake. The game includes a mission involving prostitutes in a brothel in which a couple can be partially observed having sex (i.e., moaning sounds). Female characters are sometimes depicted topless in the brothel; some rooms contain drawings of figures engaged in various sex acts. During the course of the game, a character briefly mentions an opium pipe. The player's character is depicted drinking alcohol during a sequence of cutscenes; after a time, players must walk and engage in a fistfight while the screen and controls are impaired. The words [taken out due to TOS] appear in the dialogue.

The most MA game I've gotten is Metal Gear Solid and I really want to get this game as I think I'll have fun with it - last one I played was on the PS2 and I had a blast with it. I don't want to hear tons of cursing, see a lot of sex symbols/acts or a lot of blood/gory stuff on every corner.

Perhaps I'll wait until after it's launched and get y'awls impressions.

I good amount of games are rated Mature nowadays. The Division, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Mass Effect Andromeda, Rise of The Tomb Raider, etc. I doubt it will have a ton of cursing. Out of all the games I played, the only game that had a ton of cursing was GTA: San Andreas. Mature don't mean porn.......Game will be fine.....I believe every Assassin's Creed game released has been rated Mature and this is the 10th main game in the series.

Wait so people are going to pass because it might have breasts in it? Wow how prude most have become. You guys realize we are born naked right. I would agree it doesn't need to be straight outright mature porn, the internet is for that. As far as language I can't remember this series ever just rattling off f bomb after f bomb. It's ok for things to be mature, just grow up with it. But if a couple boobies and curse words would detour you from a purchase I would say grow up and live a little. If you are going to pass on it let it be for legit reasons, it's Ubisoft I am sure they will fudge it up somehow if you wait wait long enough.

Do you have kids? I would like to be able to play most games when they are awake still. There is no reason my soon to be 13 year old shouldn't be able to play a game like this either. You add nudity for no good reason other than shock value and you restrict your market.

I'm 45 and married with kids. There's is a time and place for that stuff which you can get anywhere. It adds nothing to the actual game imo.

The most mature game I have played was Conker's Bad Fur day back on the N64. I don't think I've played anything since that approaches that level of maturity.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to this game. I wish they had more consoles of it set up at PAX West; a 2 hour line is too much for me.

I hope they do more in Africa and the Middle East, since so much historical stuff that happened in those places that they can do a story around. You have the Mali Empire, Songhai Empire, Wagdu Empire, etc.

Japan too. I think the period of civil war in the late 1400s/early 1500s could easily fit an AC story.
