I still haven't played any AC game, should definitely get some on the PS3. Anyway, this looks good, and I think Ubisoft is getting better and better at creating open worlds, with each game.

I'm still going to wait on reviews and impressions before I bite. I may give it a rental this weekend, though, before deciding. The trailers look outstanding, but CGI cut-scenes are a beautiful drug sometimes.

After reading about micro-transactions, loot boxes and the plague of incoming Helix credits, I’m definitely holding off at launch. Micro-transactions have no home in a single player game... or at least, shouldn’t.

Actually micro-transactions make much more sense in a single player game than a multi-player game. In a single player game there is less opportunity for any type of unbalancing to cause issues with players paying to win.
