A personal friend and I got this game to break our heroine-like addiction to the soul sucking game that is overwatch, and we anticipated a couple of our other buddies to dive in which doesn't seem to be happening.
From our experience we're enjoying it although would like to get a group where we can be more serious with synergy of builds between characters. We're both on PC, mid 30 and dad's which mean we usually have two nights a week where we have dedicated time to play a few hours. Would really like to add a few players from here that we could group up at times especially for end game.

Please feel free to add. We're usually on Wednesday and Friday nights. He's a storm class, I'm a ranger class at moment although willing to play whatever is needed - right now we're around level 20 playing on hard. If added just note OperationSports in message.

Anthem (PS4,X1,PC)
Not sure what’s going on but now that I’ve reached end game the game crashes constantly.
Edit: game is an absolute mess for me now. Invisible enemies, missions won’t progress, crashes whenever I try to leave an expedition. None of this happen until end game. Unplayable for the last hour because of these various issues. Disappointing.Last edited by ricky24; 03-03-2019, 08:46 PM.Comment

Strange, wonder if there are just server issues tonight or something. Last night was a mess, couldn't quick mission because I was only getting into broken ones that weren't progressing.
Also trying to play Storm after maining a Colossus for so long, feels impossible. I'm used to being so much more durable.

Anthem Is 'Bricking' Some PS4 Consoles
The cases of bricking are rare, but there's much more widespread console crashes on both the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. EA and Bioware are working to discover the cause.
If you are planning to play EA's new online multiplayer action RPG Anthem on PS4, it's best to delay installing it at least for the next few days. The game is causing Sony's games console to crash, and in rare cases renders them unusable, which is commonly referred to as a console being bricked.
As Polygon reports, the severity of the crash varies from players being thrown back to the main menu, out of the game completely and back to the PS4 dashboard, or even turning off their PS4$309.00 at Amazon. It's that last and most severe type of crash leading to the hardware being bricked as it could cause a serious hard drive problem.Comment

Not really surprised. It's EA. Their track record speaks for itself. And BioWare simply isn't what it used to be. Must admit that as much as flying around like Iron Man seems like a blast of fun and the visuals look great, just way too many issues which makes me glad I passed on this game. Simply not worth my money and more importantly, my time.
On the positive side, there's always the chance that the game is the exact opposite in six months or a year from now. Granted, it may not matter by then but at the same time, if Ubisoft can revive Rainbow Six Siege from it's launch disaster, then any game can be revived as long as the publisher is 100% dedicated and committed.
Of course, there in lies the problem. Ubisoft is far from perfect but you never see them give up on a game because of a bad launch. Remains to be seen if EA follows suit or repeats what they did with Mass Effect Andromeda.Comment

Not sure what this means. The game doesn’t need to be the “exact opposite” just some minor bugs that need to be worked out as far as my experience goes. The gameplay is top notch I don’t want that changed much at all. Just fine tune the bugs and keep pushing out content.Comment

Dude, I know you're loving this game but seriously, bricking a console is NOT a minor bug. And there's been reports of this possibly happening to Xbox One consoles as well. Again, NOT a minor bug. Clipping issues is a minor bug. Making your multi-hundred dollar console a paperweight is NOT a minor bug.
And by complete opposite, I mean an actual working functional playing game in which the issues are in fact minor. Just because you're not having serious issues doesn't mean that they don't exist for other people. EA has even admitted that something is causing PS4 consoles to be bricked. I get it. You're loving the game but when a game has serious issues by the majority of those who are playing the game, people need to acknowledge it because if you don't, we'll just keep getting the same problems with every release.Comment

It's not having serious issues by the majority though, you're pouring it on a bit there. Also read at least two accounts from support that no consoles are being actually bricked, they have to be properly reset.
It's a problem, but not the widespread catastrophe you paint it as.
