Re: Battlefield V
I feel like BF1 has been a decent game overall, it greatly improved with the release of all the DLC; the vanilla game felt like it lacked a lot of content when it first came out, at least in comparison to BF4.
BF4 will always be an all-time great game in my mind. I prefer, and I think most people do as well, the modern aspects of war (ei, the weapons). I greatly prefer the weapon skins in BF4, which had to be unlocked via achieving things in the game as opposed to getting lucky opening a loot box. There was a feeling of accomplishment when you finally unlocked some of them, especially late-cycle when they released the phantom bow and other fancy weapon skins.
The weapons skins in BF1 feel very low effort; the vast majority of them (namely the bronze rare ones) have been copy-pasted onto all of the guns in the game. They tried to be historically accurate, so IMO most of the skins are very bland. There's just very little to work towards and accomplish in BF1 relative to BF4.
I would be OK with the next BF game being set in the WW2 setting; the game basically markets itself with some re-masters of the classic BF1942 maps, which is what put DICE and BF games on the map back in the day. As an avid BF1942 player, I look forward to it. I hope DICE adds more player customization to the game, and ditches the loot box's (not holding my breath for this one, it's a money printing machine). I'd like to see remasters of Battle of the Bulge, Market Garden, El Alamein, Omaha Beach etc... And see classic tank battles (panzer, sherman) and classic planes in the frost bite engine.
There's a lot to get excited about with WW2.Last edited by Maverick09; 03-14-2018, 01:50 PM.Comment

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Battlefield V
OT: Stars Wars Bounty Hunters? Admittedly the Bounty Hunter game was fun back in the day, but dammit guys just give us a Jedi/Sith character to customize, lightsabers to slash, and force powers to wield. It shouldn't be this damn hard.

Re: Battlefield V
Haha...a highlight for this year's Madden is a new punter interface? Surely not. That leak seems fake.
Why do all these reveals as Battlefield V and then internally note it as 1945? That doesn't make sense to me.
