I think no auto generating health can be good and completely change the strategy of a game. Uncharted and TLOU were very different as a result. Forces you to be more defensive and careful. But eating is one of those tedious things that I don’t know about. Do you eat to gain health like a health kit? I haven’t read this year.

    Edit:
There are also some smaller changes. The health system has been revamped in Valhalla: passive regeneration while out of combat was replaced by a set number of “rations” that allow players to restore a chunk of their life bar at will. Those rations get replenished by harvesting the plentiful edible items (like berries or mushrooms) around the game world, but it adds an additional dimension to combat by giving players a new system to manage. In the practical sense, giving players access to more health means combat encounters can be longer and enemies more deadly.

I can't wait to run, climb and jump to get all those sea shanties or chasing pages. There are songs that your crew can sing when on your longboat so im hoping there's collectible sea shanties.

Regarding health, watch ACG's preview on youtube. He has 6 health rations and as he kept gathering berries, the bar filled and it went to 7. I see this as being similar to Horizon Zero Dawn where you would have that reserve health and can use it to refill your main health bar.

Not going to lie, I wish it was November already!!! LOL.

I’d love to know when the next gen versions aren’t coming.

              Lol. Stupid auto correct.

The fact they have announced a PS4 date and not a PS5 date leads me to believe we probably won’t see the game until 2021. I can wait a little bit I’d love to be able to play this on a PS5 over the holidays.

                  This.

Games that are cross-gen or next gen only will have their release dates announced as most likely be launch titles once Sony and Microsoft officially announce the release date for both consoles.

My prediction has always been November 6th for Xbox Series X and November 20th for PlayStation 5 with their respective versions being released on those respective days.

I am not a fan of the Stamina bar. I understand but I hate it. I also hate that the hose also has a stamina bar.

Yup, everyone's just waiting on the marketing to spin up and then we'll be buried in release dates and other information.

All those mythology does not really fits well in a Sci-Fi setting, which is original AC was
Odyssey and origins are pretty good games.

Odyssey and Origins are both REALLY good games. He's doing himself a disservice if he doesn't give Odyssey a shot.
