Saw a theory that Batman is going to be the main villain of the game.

Didn't really have much more depth than that. They just thought you spend the whole time thinking he's dead, and then he's a surprise reveal at the end.

Delayed until 2022. Honestly, I'm not that surprised. There was never a concrete release window and they would still tweet job postings on Twitter here and there.
I didn't have high expectations with the co-op online approach, but at least wanted to rent it. I would honestly forget about this game until they post a job posting.
Just like the Sucide Squad kills the Justice League, don't have super high expectations. I don't expect to hear anything concrete about that game until E3 2022. I get they felt they got most of what they could from the Batman series, but they could have did a Prequel approach. Where it was about his journey to become Batman and him starting out

I think Single Player would have been with CPU controlling the other characters. But, design was built around CO-OP online. I think SSKJL has a similar approach. I want to say one of those games will take a Live Service approach

From the gameplay that was released last year it looked like you could swap to the other character on the fly during combat similar to Arkham Knight. I didn't really pay attention to any on-line details, but honestly don't remember hearing about that before your post.

Gotham Knights can be completely played solo or in two player co-op.

My only thing with games like this is the AI experience. Either you're getting a robotic predictable AI teammate or they can be a liability because they don't use them to their best ability.

But, I don't have an issue with a delay, rather them take their time to get it right

Sorry, I completely blanked that game out since I never played it lol.

Since it wasn't Rocksteady, WB's only option was this or a period between one of the first couple Arkham games. I just hope this game turns out good. I didn't play AO but I did watch a playthrough while working out months ago. I enjoyed the story, hopefully this one delivers

I liked the Story Trailer. But, surprised there wasn't a release date or even a release window, outside of 2022. I thought it might be a Q1 2022 release being that they quickly delayed the game early this year in March.

My guess is August/September 2022, Hogwarts Legacy in November 2022 and Suicide Squad gets pushed to 2023.

I was shocked it didn't get a date or at least like a quarter or something yesterday to but yeah I see SS getting pushed to 2023 considering we have still not seen any real gameplay and with the other 2 games in knights and Hogwarts and even a 3rd WB game in lego Star Wars Skywalker saga. Got to have some kind of distance between those 4 games for WB.
