The Xbox has a 733mhz Pentium 3 CPU - The Xbox 2 has 3 3GHz cores
The Xbox had a GeForce 3 GPU - The Xbox 2 has a GPU more powerful than anything on the market right now.
The Xbox had 64MB RAM - The Xbox 2 has 256MB RAM

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Specs Confirmed
1200+ more channels will be up for DirecTV users this summer, again I don't watch TV so I could careless, just keep giving me my sporting events in HD and I'm str8Originally posted by jmood88There's no need to buy an hd-tv until more channels support it and until the prices go down. No company would be stupid enough to require hdtv to play games until more people are able to afford them.
I agree about the prices of the sets they're up there, but prices are falling by the day.Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Specs Confirmed
Not everyone wants that crappy directv service. But the good thing is that the prices are falling a lot and pretty soon most people will have one but that wouldn't be a good business plan to require an hdtv before they get in a majority of people's homes.Originally posted by ps2king1200+ more channels will be up for DirecTV users this summer, again I don't watch TV so I could careless, just keep giving me my sporting events in HD and I'm str8

Re: Xbox 360 Specs Confirmed
they're coming down slowly...I'll eventually have an HDtv, just couldn't swing the cash to do it right...I'd rather have a nicer non HDtv than a bargain basement HDtv that's lackingOriginally posted by jmood88Not everyone wants that crappy directv service.
