I would look into the G series Asus gaming laptops. They are very affordable and overall some pretty powerful systems.

I have had my G60VX for going on two years. Though I no longer play WOW, that game is why I purchased mine. I was able to run at about 75 fps with full settings.
Yes, this is really what I'm looking for. Something powerful, and cheapish. Question though can I buy this in increments or something? I'm 17 and I'm a senior with alot of senior events coming up lol.

I quit wow during ICC. Got a bit of an itch to play it so I made a trial account and then downloaded the 4.3 ptr and tried several pre-made 85s. Felt really weird, the most fun I had was with a blood dk in dps gear soloing old vanilla and bc raids.

        Any tips for upping DPS?

I've always seemed to have such a problem with it. I don't know why I just can never seem to max it out.

I started playing this again after 5 months off. I love TOR and will still play it, but WoW is still the game of choice for Fantasy stuff. Really, I'm just gonna PvP and arena and maybe run some of the lower level raids and instances

Anyone still playing? For some reason, I'm starting to itch for more WoW after a nearly 12 month break.

Now to update my game and decide if I want to continue an old character. I might, but I'm sure the game has changed to the point that my toon would be totally screwed up.

I went back about a month ago on a scroll of resurrection and I subbed for a month to get my friend his mount but I just couldn't get into it this time.

Not sure what it is, probably the fact most all of the people I used to raid with seem to have quit but once my sub was expired I had no interest in renewing. The raid finder seems like a good idea but its pretty awful IMO, nice way for people who don't have a raid group to get some solid gear but the fights are so easy they're almost impossible to wipe on and you don't really learn much from them since you can just pretty much stand in anything and be healed through it.

ICC was the last raid I really liked a lot, I didn't mind the early raids in Cata and even Firelands was alright but with Dragon Soul I just didn't have as much fun, once again that probably goes back to the fact I only knew 2 of the people I raided it with but all the changes Blizz has put into place to make it easier (dungeon finder, raid finder) have really killed a lot of the sense of community. Not to mention the shared loot tables on 10/25 raids which sucks big time because some of the best times I had in the game was being able to do 10 man HM ICC then joining a pug 25 man (met a lot of cool people through those even though I don't think they ever went past Rot & Fester before the nerf).

I'm sure I'll end up going back once Mists comes out just to see how that goes but I doubt it'll ever end up really grabbing me again (which is probably a good thing lol).

I can't decide if I want to check out Mists of Pandaria. While it makes it easier knowing I have a bunch of Amazon discounts laying around I'm sure if it is worth getting back into. Anyone need a scroll of resurrection for rewards let me know.

Am starting to lean toward trying it. After getting to 80 in guild wars 2 and nearing 100% completion, I just dont think it holds the staying power I thought it might.

                        Agreed. I'll hop between GW2, BL2, TL2, and MoP.

I never stick with WoW, but I always log-in and finish the raids up. Then I let my accounts decay.

It's a perpetual cycle with myself and WoW. Not gonna worry about picking it up on Tuesday, but once I build my new computer this week I will download it.

Yeah later once I get to 80 in GW2 i'll get MoP to level a monk and my 80s do the dungeons probably some pick up raids then let it decay like said.

Pleasantly surprised, it doesnt feel like a complete rush of 8 different zones. Love the music during the first zone, very calming.

I went with the hunter for the sole reason of being able to play it one handed for now without feeling like I'm hindered.

I think i'll wait a month or so to get this, I just got Borderlands 2 and Guild Wars plus 2k13 in a week(meaning i'll cave by the end of next week).

I really just want to try the Monk, but i'll probably level a main first so I can come back to the new stuff with a monk after some time has expired

Still on the fence on this, leaning to not getting it for now though, I've been checking the armory to see if anyone I used to play with is back and playing but everyone I check out hasn't logged in in months still. One of my good friends got it and is a level 86, another is an 88 but outside of those two I haven't found anyone else playing it that would convince me to get it.
