First MMO for me that I don't have to feel rushed to play it every second of my free month to get my monies worth. Can enjoy when I want and from the early impressions that will be often.

Yup, not to mention like in WoW when I felt like I had to be on constantly to not fall behind my guildies, I love the fact even if you fall behind your friends can play with you since it downscales them to your current zone.

I guess what I like the most is not just a singlular idea, but maybe a sumation of all the combined parts. There are a lot of new ideas and features going into the game verus it just being a WoW clone.

While I enjoyed my time with WoW for a long time, Im ready for something different.

Will GW2 be flawless, not likely, but many new ideas and feature sets are new, so I expect growing pains.

I guess if I had to narrow it down to one thing, it would be that you earn most of your experience and your skills through discovery and exploring the maps and doing challenges and heart quests etc... versus just logging in and getting to lvl 15, and sitting in your home city queing for dungeons for the next 70 levels. The fact that you get downleveled to the current zone...yet recieve rewards for your actual level is a pretty good idea as well, as it can keep friends together without one feeling like they are wasting their time.

I actually tried to go for Loremaster in WoW, but running entire zones of quests and just 1 shotting mobs and getting nothing for it bored me within the first 2 days, and this has now solved that issue.

No sub fee will encourage a lot of people that would have been on the fence to buy the game, so there should be a very healthy population as well.

They are to be commended for trying something outside of the norm, for that simple reason Ill support it....really tired of failed mmo, ..after failed mmo....after failed mmo.

Speaking of loremaster... I got it on a character, and felt a bit of gratification but more of that I just wasted all that time since all I did was queue for dungeons and LFR after that.

I really liked the original GW. PvP was fun, fast paced, and easy to access. I would have gotten more into it, but at the time the guild I ran with wasn't willing to switch from the other game we were playing. Looking forward to this one.

I just pre-purchased the digital deluxe (I want that wolf) and cannot wait. I love the idea that you can wander into an event and "unofficially" group with other people and have fun.

I also like the engineer class.

All my time has been spent on Ranger so far. Supposedly there is a rumor of another test tomorrow. We shall see. Would like to mess around with engineer some. Anyone play it? Hate it, love it?

Will be on tonight if the servers dont crash under the load. No clue if my usual name is taken or not, but as soon as I get in...will post name and server.

So far I think majority of my friends have chosen the Isle of "Something" ( dont know what it is ) to play on. Guess Ill roll over there.

Holy cow. I just watched all the videos, and just got more excited than ever for the dye system. They did an excellent job on the armor sets as well... I think I just switched from being Sylvari to being Asuran for my first character.

Still waiting impatiently though.

Ill be up and waiting to play as soon as the servers are up, if they come up 3 hours early like they hinted at to start staggering people in.

Will be rolling on Isle of Janthir server and have vent availible if anyone wants to join up

Well servers are up... Just a whole lotta lag to deal with ATM, the team said they're working on getting it sorted.

I'm on Isle of Janthir as well, name is Rathori. Asuran Guardian to start off with, one of the light armor users (debating Necro or Mesmer right now) is up next.

Severs went up 3 hours early as rumored, but the servers are getting hammered so there is a ton of lag / disconnection / mobs not spawning etc. Knew it would probably happen due to the volume if people entering at the same time, hope it can get fleshed out soon.
