I know I am a cook, and crimson is armorsmith. Not sure if he has another profession yet or not.

For an Engineer do you think two pistols or a rifle is more effective? Do you pick up better weapons through loot or shops?

I know I am a cook, and crimson is armorsmith. Not sure if he has another profession yet or not.

I have tailoring and jewelery, so I need ore, gemstones, leather, and jute. Anything else I can donate to whomever. Also, if anyone needs light armor or any kind of accessories I can make those for people.

Pretty much any of the blue crafting items are what I am lacking, i dont have a problem getting ore or cloth....but my god at the amount of blue materials needed to make items!

No idea on the weapons, as I haven't gotten very far as my engineer. I'd assume it really depends on the build and style you want to run.

I've found all my weapons from loot drops and haven't bought anything.

It's worth a shot. Too bad they don't have a trial (as far as I know.)

For what it's worth, I absolutely hated guild wars 1. I tried to like it, but I couldn't do it.

how is this compared to the first one? i logged over 4k hours and had all the expansion packs, played with a top 100 guild. had fow armor, chaos gloves and all the good stuff until i got hacked one day

For what it's worth, I absolutely hated guild wars 1. I tried to like it, but I couldn't do it.

I hated the beta for this one but I ended up getting the game anyway and I've enjoyed it more as time goes on.

Community hasn't been a trollfest like some other games and their opening week.

Alot of nice touches to things like crafting not losing the skill level, just pay to switch. There's going to be a learning curve but alot of people are in the same boat for now.

I've been watching PvP videos on Youtube, looks like fun. What's Guild Wars about anyway? What do you do in it?

I don't mind having just a few skills for each weapon,. but I wish they would let the skills advance in levels. I have a glue shot. It would be nice if the more I used it the longer the effect would last and the stronger the glue would be.

Loving this game though. It is so much fun and there is so much to do in the beginning area. Love that if I want to play form point A to B story wise I can. If I want to play sandbox I can do that as well.

And...I don't feel the need to rush before a monthly fee kicks in....which is nice...

Thinking about switching to artificer from jewel. It seems like jewel is one of the most popular crafts, so I fear it well cost a lot more to buy supplies when the trading post opens.
