I plan on getting this in a couple of weeks. I have pre-ordered Madden, which will keep me fully engrossed for a little while, plus the PGA comes to Boston on Labor Day weekend and I usually try to go to the tournament one day in addition to all the other things normal people do to celebrate their kids going back to school. :-) I figure that will put me in a good time frame to allow launch issues and the first wave to pass through. I will be watching this thread to keep tabs on where the OS people are and hopefully the guild will still have room.

Re: Guild Wars 2
My right click on that mouse busted and I'm in the process of trying to repair it. An awesome mouse for MMOs but sadly does break if you aren't careful with it (I broke mine travelling).
Installing my copy now. Add me: RichieIncognito.9231Comment

I stopped buying Razer after I had 2 with the same right click issue, no traveling or slamming to break itAaron

Re: Guild Wars 2
I actually just took mine apart (didn't realize you even could) and tried piecing it all back together with crazy glue. I figured it was too expensive not to try.
On topic I'm having all kinds of problems connecting. Might be an EU thing.Comment

Re: Guild Wars 2
Is someone making a small guild for OS members on Isle?
I picked up the Logitech G600 MMO from best buy this past weekend and have been getting used without any problems. (First MMO mouse)Sirius "U"

I played WvWvW for about three hours tonight. I really liked it, minus two issues.
First, there's so much running around from point to point. I just don't really want to spend my time repeatedly running the same route after I die. I understand the point of it and that you can buy spawn points, but it's still annoying.
Also, this mode is crazy expensive. You die...a lot, which of course leads to repairs.

Re: Guild Wars 2
It's pretty cool that you can transfer from server to server to join a group/guild/friend(s). I went from Anvil to Fort to Isle's server. Just started crafting last night & really enjoying the fact that if you have a stack of 100 pieces of lumber it wont take 5+ minutes to turn that into planks it speeds up the execution and you get that done in about 1 minute.
I still just sit and take damage forgetting that i can roll/jump out of attacks. Lol (mmo style is still stuck for now).
The genre for this game that ArenaNet made should be called Action MMO. It just doesn't compare to anything else that i've played before (didnt play GW1 :/ ).Sirius "U"
