I went ahead and played through anyway. Scarlet Witch seems to rather suck. Her stun doesn't work on bosses and it seems she needs the -defense hex to actually be effective. Luckily I did get Hawkeye who appears to be absolute beast. 98% of them were dead before they were even in range to hit me. However he was too spamy and not really fun. No free points either. Wait until Emma Frost is out and grind for drops I guess.

Enjoying Storm 10x more than Hawkeye. As goh said Hawkeye is super spammy and not much variety, at least early on.Comment

Left this to download as I went to work today so I'll hop on for a few minutes and get going when I get home tonight. (Which is 3am Pacific time) I'll be on during the day tomorrow though. In game name should be bsnakes.
I'll be honest, this game was not on my radar at all until the Giantbomb guys said it was decent and it was totally free to play. I might try The Thing first unless you guys have terrible things to say. I always like tanky melee guys so I think I'll try and stick with him for awhile.Comment

I'm not too much of a fan of The Thing as a character, but he works really well in the game. I've only died once, and it was in the chaos of a ton of characters fighting Venom and I was concentrating too much on trying to click Venom in the chaos to notice my health had whittled down.Comment

How do you even party-up? Or do we just randomly meet each other in-game? I'm only on Chapter 1 so I'm not in a real hurry to join groups or whatever, my Daredevil is still learning to jump around.Comment

Killed Dr. Doom again for the dailies with Vald.
I had a fortune card drop, which in turn turned out to be one of the 5 exclusive costumes that you can't buy (either you get them via fortune card, or you have the ultimate pack.)
Shame I don't have Captain America. Oh well. So it wasn't a costume drop, per se... but it was a costume drop.
It's this costume. Really, the only one I even like for him - I'm not a big Captain America fan.

In the chat window, type /? and it will list all of the commands you can issue in the game. Here are a few of the ones I use most:
/reply <message> (reply to last person that sent you a message)
/tell <name> <message> (talk to someone)
/friend <name> (to add a friend)
/party <message> (talk to everyone in your party)
/time (to see what time it is)
/? (to list all commands available)
Also, if you are using tell, party, or reply, and hit Enter (instead of space) to bring up the window, it will leave the last first part of the message you typed, so you don't have to type /tell <name> over and over again.Comment

Yeah, was going to spend my package currency on cards but not really in love with any of the awards. Others include Destroyer Thor and Iron Man Stealth Armor.
Probably use it to unlock a couple other characters once I start getting bored.
I believe I'm mestevo. I've got Cable to 13 or 14 and am still in Madripoor.
