Only thing I have seen us deleting all the files and trying again. However there are many people getting the same error as me with no solutions yet.

They need to get a non ****ty launcher and release through steam.

You can buy it through steam so there will have to be a steam launcher at some point right?

Well they released the open beta through steam so I am downloading the game client through them so I dont have to deal with the pathetic Bitraider crap.

I played a bit yesterday and got the laggy mess. Was unplayable. Literally. Everyone else and all the enemies were just standing there,one was stuck using an ability. Beat Electro at least. Had to restart the comp a bit after that and when I came back I couldn't even login any more.

They added an extra day to make up for the lag.

They added an extra day. I haven't played in a while and will likely wait until the game launches. I like the potential but there are bugs that need fixing and fast

Only even noticed this thread because I saw it on Tapatalk's unread list the other day. Had to search to find it, forgot there's this seldom-used MMO forum.

Played it again for the first time in a few weeks yesterday, got hulk to level 5 or 6... mindless fun game, but agree with complaints about the map, lack of guidance. Perhaps they have concerns with longevity if you could see a 'points of interest' on a map or something, and investigating them all will at some point reveal your objective.

I too enjoy the evolving look/feel of a character over time as I level and get different gear, would almost have preferred the DCUO approach of making a character based on another, with PVP (which I don't do) and scenarios allowing you to play as heroes themselves.

Thank you for joining us for this final Open Beta Weekend for Marvel Heroes. If you played the game yesterday, you may have experienced some 'lag' and may not have been able to login. We had some technical issues with our servers, but those have now been resolved, and we have more players than ever enjoying the game!

We wanted to let you know that the servers are up and waiting for you. If you haven't logged in yet, you will get your pick of five Avengers to play, just for this weekend - pick Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow or Hulk to start your Marvel Heroes experience! We've also given you some 'test' in-game currency to buy additional heroes with - just press 'X' in-game to access the store.

As a result of the issues we had yesterday, we will be extending the Open Beta Weekend beyond our previously advertised finish time of 10AM PDT on Monday, to 10AM PDT on Tuesday May 14 - a full 24 hours of extra play time. So if you haven't had a chance to play yet, there's still time to do so!

The game is just kind of meh. Like it's not bad by any stretch, but it doesn't really wow me, no pun intended. I think the biggest thing I hate is how each hero has such a limited skill tree. Unless I'm just missing something, there just doesn't seem like a lot of different ways to build a hero. Or I'm just spoiled by Path of Exile, which is entirely possible.

Not sure why the graphics are getting thumbs down. They aren't ground breaking, but they look nice, especially for an action-RPG. If you scroll in, you can even clearly read signs, which albeit minor, is still kind of neat.

Still dont see the need for the ultimate or premium packs but i'll do a starter pack for release.

I enjoyed the beta since i had no lag issues and always enjoyed the diablo/marvel ultimate alliance/torch light/mmoish type of games.

can't wait to play it on my new laptop (Sager NP6110 / Clevo W110ER).

Every other game so far is smooth on it.

Look at the conversion rate. If you want to play all of the characters, seems Ultimate is mandatory, otherwise it will cost you $700+ to get the same amount of characters.

Some characters, without their costumes, were 2000 G's, or $20, with their costumes, such as Ironman, they could cost up to $70. That's for one, single character with costumes! Crazy IMHO.

Can you get characters and costumes just by playing the game though? If not then I don't see myself putting much time in to this game.
