Except here's the thing. You specifically said in your post "this is a no buy for me", which means you haven't bought it yet. So what you're getting mad at is not being able to play a game that A) you haven't paid for and B) hasn't even officially launched yet. Makes perfect sense. Nevermind the fact that the servers have worked flawlessly all day.

maybe the server you are on has been fine all day, once again I am happy for you, but the server I play on has given me the world is full message about 4 different times since about 5:30 or so.

and yes I am mad because I don't get to play the game. I am just jealous I guess, everyone else gets to play but me. oh well.

No worries. We go through this with every major MMO launch, so this is pretty mild for most of us.

If you cant get in, just keep spamming the 0 key to log in. Takes a few minutes but you will get in.

Battle system is simple yet so fun.. Tanking on Warrior is an absolute blast for me, especially with Defiance.. Pop Defiance stance on bosses and cures heal you for SO much.. And if by the slim chance you drop low, blow your wrath on Inner Beast and that's a DMG x 300% cure.. Can't wait to get Storm's Path (absorbs 50% DMG dealt as HP on combo) and Storm's Eye (increases amount healed for by 50% on combo).. Just so fun blood tanking and relying on DMG, absorbing health, and 25% reduction parries instead of blocks

Titan Egi + Attacker Stance Chocobo is kinda overpowered lol.. Just don't get the last attacker move that does an AOE

Is Scholar similar to disc priest from wow? I want to get into healing since that's the one thing I'm great at in MMOs.

That's a decent comparison.

I haven't looking into the theorycrafting of everything yet, so I don't know the formulas or anything but here are the skills I'm currently rolling with (at level 37).

Protect - Increases the physical defense of all party members within range of target. A CNJ skill every class needs to have available to them when soloing. (MP Cost - 122)

Succor - Restores own HP and the HP of all nearby party members. Cure Potency: 150. Additional Effect: Erects a magicked barrier which nullifies damage equaling the amount of HP restored. Duration: 30s. (MP Cost - 183)

Adloquium - Restore's Target's HP. Cure Potency: 300. Additional effect: Erects a magicked barrier which nullifies damage equaling the amount of HP restored. When critical HP is restored, damage nullification is doubled. Duration: 30s (MP Cost - 147)

Physick - Restore's Target's HP. Cure Potency: 400. (MP Cost - 61)

Aetherflow - Restores 20% of maximum MP. Instant cast, 60s cooldown. Must have for long fights. Use it on cooldown to keep mana alive.

I'll bust out the limit break for the group if we're taking some pretty crazy damage as well. Additionally, I normally use Eos as my pet (as opposed to Selene) and these are her skills.

Embrace - Restore's target's HP. Cure Potency: 300. 2s cast time, 3s recast timer.

Whispering Dawn - Gradually restores own HP and the HP of all nearby party members. Cure Potency: 100. Duration: 21s. 2s cast time, 60s recast timer.

Only every chance I get to log in (the login servers are still getting pounded until after this weekend - they're supposed to be increasing server capacity).

I would say join Sargatanas as there's at least two of us OS'ers on that server, but I think new character creation on most, if not all NA worlds is on lockdown until they increase that capacity. At this point I'd just say pick one that's open and jump in if you just want to play the game.

Yeah... Tuesday night/Wednesday Morning (Wednesday in JP time) is when the data centers are getting expanded.

I must hit 50 on my SMN/SCH. I didn't get the boot right now like about 50 people in my FC or so (we still have ~130 on) so I can grind out these FATEs until I don't want to anymore. Love this zone.

4/5 AF on both SCH/SMN and at level 46 currently.
