imo, pasta isnt in the crap category. but i dont know if id eat a lot of it if i were trying to either tone up or lose weight. It all depends on your metabolism, and how much you work out, as to how much pasta you should allow in your diet imo...but you can eat pasta and still get ripped if you work out right. and if you are trying to bulk up, then pasta is great.

the crap category consists of things like FRIED food, junk food, most fast food, etc...

K I'm looking for some advice or even hope for that matter.

I was a twig for grade 9 and 10 I was at like 135-145 range. I took a fitness class second semester of grade 11, got bulked up a bit for football and I went up to 160 and thats where I am now. I'm 5'11 with little fat on my body and just overall built. But now I am getting back into the thick of things as my coach wants me to play University ball but I need to be in the 175-180 range, so I'll be going on a workout routine that a University uses around here. I just don't think this is attainable because the sole reason I went up last year was because of Creatine, but I'm scared that was my peak and I can't get any bigger. He also wants me to play Running Back so all that weight needs to be on my upper body.

EDIT: I can't slow down at all, I need to stay the same speed or make it even better.

Wouldn't you want a even split between the legs and upper body, you know your legs are really important while playing running back, much more important than upper body IMO. You just gotta have determination and I'm sure you can obtain your goals.

Thanks for the support... This is my second full week without alcohol now and the pounds are dropping off. I can't wait to get my measurements this week, I'm sure I'll have even more dramatic results this week.

No problem. I have the upmost respect for people who are dedicated to what they are doing to acheive goals... even if it means cutting alcohol and such.

As for me. Last night I seen a buddy that I hadn't seen in close to 3 weeks, when I started my diet/exercise routine. The first thing he did, was look at me and say, "Have you lost weight?" I hadn't noticed too much, but I said, "Yeah." He said, "You look like you've lost about 15 lbs or so."

Of course, I'm only 4 lbs lighter, but much leaner already. I am feeling better than ever, but I'm no looking for some other suplements that will help keep my metabolism going.

I can't wait to see your results this week either.

Congrats cb... that is awesome brother.

As for me, I'm 6'4", and weighing in at a whopping 191lbs. So I'm not fat by any means... but I just want to get back to where I once was before all of the injuries.

As for the diet soda's.... from what I've read, you may want to cut down on those as well. Studies are starting to show that diet soda's in the long term, are actually worse for you, as you will start gaining weight big time, one of the side effects of something in them. i can't remember. I'll look for the article.
