I have an 83" wing span trying to dip 237 lbs. Nature and physics aren't working in my favor on that one."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
I drink and eat way too many things that are not good for me. I can't seem to eat healthy anymore, and I haven't worked out since I graduated High School. Any ideas on how to get back into the groove of healthy eating/working out?
Is it best to start slow when beginning to workout again? I don't want to go full blast and end up getting burnt out after the first few days.
And remember, you should plan a 'cheat' day as well. We all cheat. Even the most hardened workout nut. You might as well plan for it, so you don't overdo it.
Saturday is usually mine. I like to make a nice big batch of hotwings and drown them with a coke on ice. Ahhh. There's nothing better.
My mother-in-law also says that if you avoid the middle aisles at the grocery store, you'll be less tempted to pick up any junk food. I never thought about it until she said it, but you can pretty much get all your healthy meals from the parameter (at my local grocery store anyways).Comment

I agree with Money99. You're going to cheat, it's pretty much inevitable. It's just important that you don't crash. Allow yourself to cheat 1 or 2 meals a week. Don't kill yourself cheating though, as in don't go crazy with junk food.Comment

It probably won't be here for awhile, I just hope I have enough stuff to last me until it does.
What do most people mix the No Xplode and 100% Casein with? Milk? Water?Comment

I put the casein with some ice and soy milk in the blender. Just like a milk shakeComment

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
Quick question for you experts: I have been working out for about 2 months now doing the protein and now supplement thing but have gone down a notch in my belt but gained about 3 pounds...So what is the deal?
I know another guy who since I started working he started too. He was well out of shape and a lot bigger (aka a lot more fat) but he has lost 15 pounds.
Why does one lose but one gain?
By the way I am about 5'9.5 175 pounds.
And another quick question: I dont eat near as much, I just have lost my appetite since starting to work out. But the person I work out with says I have to eat to keep my carbs up for my muscles. Is this right? For instance after a workout I dont feel like eating but he makes me saying I have to.Last edited by BaseballCtchr; 07-07-2007, 06:48 PM.Comment
