I am in my third year year of law school. Right now I am interning as a Law Clerk with the Hamden County (MA) Juvenile Court, and was told they'd be delighted to have me stay the summer so I'll likely do that. It's unpaid, but a real resume booster.

Before law school, I was a Financial Advisor for this bastard . He may seem nice, but working at MetLife sucked beyond belief.

            Re: What do you do?

I'm an "account analyst" for Edfinancial Services, one of the largest educational lenders in the country. My one year anny was on Feb 21st. We basically process any type of deferments/forbearances that are sent in or any other types of paperwork that needs to be processed. It's very repetitive, but I just found out last week I'm getting promoted one rung up the corporate ladder with a raise at the end of this month, so that works. So I know some of you f***ers out there have student loans, if you have any questions, let me know.

You're still young Mood...just hang in there bro, explore as many options as possible. Really get out there and see what's possible. There's a lot of options other than 9 to 5 and a mortgage...

Neat, I love hiking and the outdoors.

Did you go to school to be a ranger? I assume there is a law enforcement aspect to the job, as well as first aid and rescue methods.

I read an interesting book titled The Last Season that was about the disappearance of Randy Morgenson, who was a park ranger at Kings Canyon National Park, in Sierra Nevada. It was a great book, and I highly recommend it.

Regarding nature and the woods... How is North Carolina for hiking and outdoor activities? I'm actually strongly considering moving, and starting my life, there and I gather the west is more suited to hiking and the outdoors, but I'm thinking of heading closer to Raleigh initially.

                    Re: What do you do?

Just had to post again due to the "sugar mama' comments from Longhorn in the GRAW2 demo game tonight. Seriously, my wife works her *** off and raising a VERY independent three year old is not easy work

Anyway, this thread has been very interesting and informative, since I'm pondering future occupations (albeit with a Civil Engineering degree...).

                      Re: What do you do?

Sports director for eight radio stations in WI. I handle play-by-play duties for one of the stations (mainly high school sports). I also anchor the morning and afternoon sportscasts. While the hours can get long (up at 3 AM and done on some nights at 10) and I'm asked to "fill-in" for other things (news, weather etc.) its a pretty good job.

I have covered the Packers for three years now. I go to practice twice a week and all the home games. I also cover Wisconsin football, some Wisconsin basketball and some Brewers and Bucks.

Going to school full time as an Electrical Engineering Technology student, and part time at Sears as a recieving technician. The Sears job is cake, but I don't get too many hours a week due to all of the time invested in my EET courses (a LOT of labs), but once I graduate, all should be well and dandy!
