Re: The official "OS Occupation" Thread.
I *might* get a job being a DJ for a radio station. It'd be around 2-3 hours per week with no pay but being a communications major, it'd fit nicely on a resume.Twitter

Re: What do you do?
About a week ago I just started working at a call center for Ohio State. I basically call alumni and ask for money.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Next week I start my new job working at a computer solutions business. They're the largest in the area. I'm the delivery person but still, it'll be a good reference on a resume in the future.Twitter

Re: What do you do?
I'm teaching English at the University of Oklahoma for one more year. After that, I'll probably move back to Georgia and teach high school.
I really like being a teacher because it's so dynamic. I've had a lot of jobs where you do the same damn thing every day, but every time you walk into the classroom it's something different.Comment

Re: What do you do?
I think I'm going to work for Lifestyle Family Fitness and do whatever it takes to become a club sales manager. I'm one of three that were offered jobs as a MIT (manager in training).
I would love to be around fitness, but I also am being interviewed by Hershey's for an area sales representative. Go to stores and tell them to put more Hershey's products on the shelves. Company car, gas, better starting salary.
Pros of LFF - I love fitness and I have a passion for helping people improve their quality of life through fitness. The clubs are going to open at a pretty quick pace and they are looking to get people prepared quickly to be managers. The jump in salary when you're a manager is really nice, definitely good considering they think 6 months will be the time until I could possibly be a manager. They have strong financial backing and are more than likely going public in the next year.
Pros of Hershey's - Better starting salary. Company car. Hershey is a very well known company.
Cons of LFF - Pretty average starting wage + commission and I'd have to be a membership consultant to begin with.
Cons of Hershey's - LONG hours. I think she said 7:30 to 6.
Both have full benefits.
I'm really leaning towards LFF. Anyone want to make a comment based on their job experience? Plus the offer for LFF is on the table and Hershey's I'm only guaranteed an interview.Comment

Re: The official "OS Occupation" Thread.
Just remember with Hershey's you'll be driving all around the f'n town every day. Sounds like with Lifetime you'd be in one place. I know a company car sounds cool, but I'm not sure I'd want to drive around all day like that...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: The official "OS Occupation" Thread.
I'm going in on Friday for an interview with UPS. Would hold 2 jobs for the next month, then when school starts, pick one, unless I can work out a schedule that would fit both, and leave time for school work.Comment

Re: The official "OS Occupation" Thread.
I'm working 25-35 hours a week at Lucky Brand Jeans. That will be reduced to probably 15-20 hours when school starts.Comment

Re: The official "OS Occupation" Thread.
Both PT, so it would mostly be 35 hours at most. Plus I have Fridays off this fall. I think I could work it out. If not, i'll pick the job that I like more, even though UPS would have a higher pay.Comment
