The sad truth is it is all about ratings. And people would eat this stuff up, even though I wont watch it.

            That's a chilling picture.

I can absolutely see what people were talking about when he killed with no emotion, and never spoke. He had that smug look on his face, no remorse whatsoever.

That picture should never be shown to the victims, nor anything else that he sent to the media.

Nice work by the psychiatric staff at the mental institution where he was taken back in December of 2005. They examine him, deem him to be an "imminent threat to himself as the result of mental illness," and then release him on an outpatient status? And after that, nobody saw him again. You're basically saying the guy's an unstable suicide risk (at best), and then you release him back out into the world. Nice.

So many warning signs on this one. So many....

It would be almost impossible to lock down VT that quickly, especially with students still arriving. Not enough police presence in the area, even with help from a few surrounding counties.

Hell, they had already begun the process when I arrived on campus at around 10-10:30. I was able to park my car and wander into the "hot zone" with very little problem.

People aren't realizing the shear size of this campus, and how many ins and outs there really are.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I hear you, but still I would want to know.

I am getting tired of hearing about what the school should of done and shouldn't of done. Really, its a horrible tragedy. It's really easy to say "should of / could of" in hindsight. I think if they locked down the school it would of been worse.

That would depend on the mechanism, in Massachusetts we can have dangerous people placed in MCI-Bridgewater.
