 Re: Official Dog Thread

My dogs are up at my Mom's house... I wish I could take Ozzy (the first pic), but I don't want to split them up really...

Ozzy Kickin' It Old School (all of our shih-tzus have done this... rest their head on wood... so weird)

He loved that bed. Until he and Mojo destroyed the foam part by wrestling all over it and we had to throw it away...

Here's Mojo (he has one eye, he was a stray and we think a cat got to him or something... my cousin couldn't keep him, so my Mom took him... best lapdog EVER and ridiculously cute):

You can see his (lack of) eye better here:

The York/Sunflash... R.I.P as of last April (craziest dog I've ever owned and the smartest... just creepily intelligent):

 Re: Official Dog Thread

Hah, yeah, Shih-tzus are basically the calmest small dogs ever. They'll run around the couch chasing each other like crazy for like 3 minutes and then sleep for 5 hours haha.. Most of the pictures I have of them, they're laying on their backs, sides, or resting their heads on something. Pretty ridiculous really... they're so laid-back it's like having 2 extra cats.. except they come when you call them.

EDIT: Also, like Maltese, they are hypo-allergenic and don't actually shed. They lose hair constantly like humans, and though you still need to vacuum pretty often, it's definitely better than a dog with seasonal shedding, especially one with hair as long as shih-tzus have... I highly recommend them for anyone who wants a low-key small dog with a good personality. Their coats are kind of high-maintenance, but you could always just cut them short and they're still cool dogs (they look much cooler with long hair though).Last edited by Stumbleweed; 02-18-2008, 03:20 PM.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment
