Gotta be a cable box issue. Check the aspect ratio setting on that.

They've never peddled it this much though. Seemingly every sideline reporter bit has included them shoving their phones in our faces. Their microphones all have the "app" logo on them.

It sure performs like it's been around for years and no improvements have been made.

Try resetting your tv? In menu you should be able to reset it to factory default.

                  People with zero theater etiquette..

I went to watch IT with some friends and the experience kinda sucked.

I had a Stephen King blowhard talking about graphic novels the entire movie.

At least 20 people showed up fashionably late throughout for the first 15 minutes and couldn't find seats. These people would come in and yell out to the whole theater to find their friends and then have a conversation and take forever finding their seats. The theater actually had to turn the lights back on slightly so they could see to get in their seats. Also this big head dude sat in front of me about 10 minutes into the movie after I had all ready got comfortable and sat as tall as he possibly could with his fitted backwards hat taking up alllll the space. I spent half the movie with my neck turned sideways trying to see. I'm a tall dude, but I at least slouch a little in the theater.

I think I may just hate people in general.

People are targeting evacuees at hotels. They're breaking into their cars as it is known valuables are likely there.

                          My new job

They still aren’t telling me much about what I’m supposed to be doing, moved me to a diff department that I’m not supposed to be working at and have 0 experience in, and nobody is bothering to train me. Now I’m fumbling over everything right infront of the public/visitors because I literally got no idea what I’m supposed to be doing and nobody is helping me out(the person who was supposed to train me is the one getting mad at me for not knowing what to do....). Can’t wait till this contract is over cause this has been such a miserable experience. Not able to quit either which sucks. Gonna be a LONG 3 months.

Doesn't help that this all is basically giving me stress/anxiety attack.

I hate this so much. I dunno how it is in America nowadays since i haven't been back in 5 years but people here in the Philippines have to check their phones all the time and its annoying as ****. Have full blown conversations or talk on the phone. I have to be the ******* that shhh and tell be people to be quiet.

One great thing is that their is assigned seating for all theaters so you don't have to wait in line for anything

Anyone see The weather channels coverage of Irma when they had one of their reporters(Mike Bettes) standing outside on US 41 in the eye wall of Irma? He almost got blown off his feet a few times. Don't get me wrong it was pretty awesome footage, but it kinda sends the wrong message no? All these reporters preaching to stay safe and stay inside while they're literally standing outside on a beach getting pounded or in the damn eye wall of the storm.

It's totally ridiculous and hypocritical of them. I was thinking about posting the exact same thing. CNN (and others of their ilk) were literally imploring everyone to stay inside and seek shelter for several days....aaaaaand at the same time, they stick 6 anchors outside at various spots in harm's way to try and manipulate their TV ratings. It's disingenuous and I wish more people called them out on this breathless "reporting" crap. Yeah, it's windy. Yeah, it's raining. Yeah, it's dangerous. We don't need to see their 'talent' flailing away in network-issued ponchos telling us how amazing it is.

The funniest thing to me is that one of the CNN reporters (who was outside in the elements) was saying how stupid it was for 2 people to be outside when they went riding their bikes past. All while....standing outside.
