*******s who constantly park on our dead end, bump music and do God knows what for hours.

Tonight four cars did this and rolled out at once. Worst part is I'm not sure I can even really do anything about it. So incredibly irritating. I wonder if putting up a 24/7 surveillance sign right under the dead end sign would deter anyone from doing these types of things there.

I'd just call the cops and report a suspicious vehicle

That's because they were probably in the parked car at the dead end....

                      By the way...

If anybody valets my car (to park, car wash, mechanic, etc.) and adjusts my seat, mirrors, and even wheel! Let's nevermind the last two because they are rarities, but the seat on its own is a hassle. Why are they adjusting it for a four second drive and playing on the assumption that I can get it back exactly where I had it for it being, you know, my car?

I don't like my seat adjusted either but when it comes to valet parking, I would think that the person parking the car may have to adjust the seat at times due to a height differential vs the person that owns/drives the car.

I mean, it a person is 7'0 tall and wants to valet park their car and the valet parker is a 5'2 female, what are they supposed to do?

Good point. I wouldn't mind if they had the courtesy to at least attempt to adjust it back, though... or inform the person or something.

But still, for a quick little drive, I still think it's best (though not safest) to stomach it just for that moment.

It's one of those things that may not necessarily take a long time to get back where you desire it, but that sometimes when you think you got maybe close to it you have something in your head that goes: "Yeah but it's not the exact same, and that's how I liked it most!" Like when I start to write a post and it somehow deletes, then when I try and get it back out there I can never get it as good as I liked it the first time.

Getting woken up early in the morning by a chainsaw and woodchipper because people just randomly decided to cut down their perfectly fine tree in the middle of winter.......

Don't know why they chose now of all times to do this, especially paying people to do it. Could understand if something was wrong with the tree like broken branches from a storm, but nothing is wrong. And given how cold it is outside, didn't know these people work this time of year. I'd imagine cutting a frozen tree while also being 20 feet high dealing with these temperatures must be hard.

Personally I would rather them adjust my seat than drive my car in an unsafe manner which increases the likelihood that damage occurs.

Aren't they liable (insurance-wise) for that sort of thing, though?

I don't think they can just toss me the keys back and say, "Oh, and I drove through a fence. Nice throttle response."
