Besides trying to keep my conversations PG rated, its funny when it changes the word but doing so still makes a coherent sentence.

Yesterday I was talking to a girl and she told me she worked a mid shift today.
So I asked her if she likes mids. We just started talking and she has said she is not ready for anything serious.

So autocorrect asked her if she likes kids.

Is it a Compaq? That's the brand and a pretty apt description of what my first laptop was. Only reason I didn't get one through Dell's website was because I am visually impaired and wanted to be able to look at it in-store to be sure I could use it. The thing locked up constantly mainly if I was trying to use more than one office application at once or sometimes if I just had more than 1 window open. I got my current laptop from Dell and it's pretty good.

I was trying to fix it this weekend and noticed she had AVG uninstalled. I told her I uninstalled it and she asked why because she had paid for a year of it -_-
      So, who uninstalled it?

It's an HP that was probably $300. Re-installed Windows using the built in HP recovery, then promptly uninstalled all of the HP software and bloatware it installed. Too lazy to go through the steps for a completely clean install.

                Lose-lose situation:

Covering up food smells in house using Febreze. The same people who would complain about the original smell also complain about the fact that things smell like Febreze.

So you can't have the original smell of things inside, but can't cover it up using air freshners. Next time I'll buy clothespins. If they can't smell anything, it doesn't matter.

I'm sorta in that group. I'll complain about smells but I usually complain MUCH more when people spray stuff to hide it. For me, it just ends up smelling like both...which is worse to me.

What grinds my gears in this discussion is people thinking that MORE air freshener is the answer. If I can TASTE the scent, it's too much...

The city of Amsterdam, New York had a choice. Cut funding for the golf course or completely eliminate public transportation. The mayor chose to eliminate public transportation. Wowsers.......Cruel world.

Stupid crap like that is pretty normal in NY. Usually the stupidity is at the state level, but now it's starting to trickle down to the local levels more and more.

When I get a steak sandwich, and they put cheese on it. I didn’t order a cheese steak (with no cheese). I ordered the steak sandwich listed on your menu. I know it’s kinda weird... I’m trying to save you a step!

Ugh. Sad lunch. I ate around as much as I could but it was so gooey.

                        I’ll always wonder, “What if...”

I hate when I order a burger and they ask if I want cheese and I'll say no and when I get home guess what, there is cheese on the burger. Pisses me off.

You ask if I want it and when I say no, you add it anyways.

lol, meanwhile, I want cheese on mine, but somehow it doesn't count as a regular ingredient like tomatoes or lettuce or anything else so they charge more for adding a single slice of cheese.
