At times I wonder if live chat people take so long to answer because they're in a live chat of their own asking someone else the same question lol. Just be 1 step ahead of the customer.

When I opened up the laptop there was a spot which looked empty, I thought maybe the drive could go there since it did say HDD on that empty spot, but there was nothing for it to slide into or even proper alignment to screw it down.

I was hoping to just use my old HDD as a backup drive on my new laptop. I've heard external drives die after a few years. So I'm worried I'll put my stuff on an external drive and one day it just stops working and I lose all of that stuff. And I dont trust cloud storage so I'm not using that.

Generally speaking, live chat folks are in multiple chats with multiple customers at a time.

Dude I'm still using an 8 year old external. I don't know where you heard they die. I've never had one die on me.

I have an external that I bought in like 2002 and it still starts up just fine. I almost never use it, granted, but it has lasted this whole time with no problem.

Just google "how long do external drives last".

But I'm same way with my flash drive. I've had it for over a decade, and big majority of the time I just pull it out of my computer without doing the safely remove drive option. It still works for the most part.

Funny thing, it started giving problems so I bought a new flash drive. The very next day it started working fine again and hasn't given such problems since.

I've had two die on me, and a third later down the line required one of those dual-head USB cables to draw the proper amount of power.

I'm not going to say they are unreliable, but it almost made me feel I needed a backup for my backup.

Update. Person ran like 50 feet to "warm up" this week and their legs exploded again the first time they tried to sprint.

Doing the job hunt thing, using some of the big names out there (Indeed, Ziprecruiter, etc). Some jobs have a 1-Tap apply via their app. Great! Love it.

Then get an immediate email from the posting, hey we need more info on our own site that isn’t mobile friendly or pulls from your 1-tap application but it’s formatted all crazy and out of order.

                          What’s the point?!

and this is why God made sports video games, though on occasion I have felt thumb twangs. really dont want to have to stretch before I turn on Madden or MLB the Show though
I just squeeze a tennis ball a few times before I play those games.

April 15th , 1980 myself and 3 friends were all in my friends car. We used to drive the country roads of Maine and get stoned. As we were riding along all high as kites and my friend puts the new Judas Priest cassette in British Steel. As the first song plays "Breaking the Law" about a minute and a half in there's a siren sound , my friend with the bag of weed throws it out the window , my friend that's driving pulls over , we all look around and there's not another car in sight.... Weed.
