recliners that are just about impossible to close and get out of. I'm about to take my recliner, set it on fire and roll it down a hill

You know what really grinds my gears?
Social media feeds that are 50% stuff you followed/joined and 50% recommended/popular BS.
I joined reddit because I like some of the pages based on my interests, but now every other thing I see on my home page is a tiktok, something borderline disturbing, something political, or something you'd see on ridiculousness. And if you click "see less of this" it is replaced by something similar, until the thing you didn't want to see is eventually cycled back in. I'm fine with the ads, but can do without the stupid viral nonsense.
Do you use old Reddit? I never switched over to the new one and I don’t see any of this.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
OK, gotcha. I actually figured out a workaround. You can create a custom feed and add all of the pages you want. It has ads but none of the suggested posts that are annoying.Comment

Sports video game menus today. Ugh, why can't they be simple like in the NES days? So annoying now with avatars walking around the screen, options are not intuitive. Promotions popping up. Grr, get off my lawn.Comment

Sitting through infinite email chains only to see back and forth questions and answers that could’ve been answered in a 5 minute phone call without CCing me.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Sports games definitely leaning towards a mix of fortnite and GTA lately with the menus and avatars. They want you to play those modes where you play dress up with your player, or are just constantly online grinding. It's that microtransaction and level-up addiction loop. Has nothing to do with sports.Comment

I just want the NBA games to bring back the 5v5 with actual teams. That's my gear grinder nowadays.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I prefer the email chain so I can reference the information if I need to, but you’re right that people don’t read the whole chain before replying and what should be the best form of communication turns in to a jumbled mess.
People calling to tell me they’re sending me an email... come on!NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

I just call, get all the information, then send a follow up email saying “just to confirm what we discussed on the phone”.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
