Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

There was a family of red-winged blackbirds about 1/4 mile from my house where I grew up, those suckers were aggressive as hell. I used to ride my bike down that road (it was a rural country road), and you had to have your head on a swivel to scare them away, they'll literally dive bomb directly at your head. I had one smash right into the back of my head once, the shock of the incident gave me a bloody nose lol. I give them credit for fearlessly attacking someone 100 times their size, and I discredit myself 100 points for being absolutely terrified of something 100x smaller than me

Seriously, **** those birds. That was scary as ****.

It grinds my gears I've never seen a video of red winged black birds collectively nose diving into a bystander's head.

Red-winged blackbird is my favorite kind of bird. To know it attacks OS'ers makes me oddly happy. Sorry guys

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I've always had a fear of things that flap. Growing up my dad and step-mom had a bird and they would sit it on my shoulder when I went over there because they knew I hated it. Well, honestly I didn't mind it too much until the damn thing started flapping around.

Anyway, my current gear grinder is that over the past two or three months my wife has been dead set on bringing our two pups to "Puppy Daycare" once a week. It's not the fact that it takes an extra 30-45 minutes a day to drive them over or the fact that it cost $20/day. It's that we get these little reports about there bad behavior when we go to pick them up.

A few weeks ago the girl told us that she saw poop in their little pen and when she returned to pick it up it was gone. It was at the end of the day and our dogs were the only two left in daycare. I was appalled.

Then yesterday we get there and the girl tells us that one of our dogs got into a fight with another dog. She said that they were all back there together now and told us everything was fine. However, I noticed the had notes on the incident logged in their system. The bad thing was the lady who owned the other dog showed up at the same time as us. I could hear the other girl talking to her telling her how her dog may be sore in the morning because he got slung around quite a bit. Needless to say, it was another embarrassing situation for me.

Man i tell you if I wanted to go through this kind of stuff I would have had kids.

People in grocery stores or just stores in general that pick the worst spot to stand and talk for a half hour. They know that they're in the way, but yet they don't move.

Co-workers who insist on bringing certain left overs to work. Mainly those with their Indian food. That stuff stinks and the smell never goes away. Bad enough the odor lingers around all day, but it sticks to clothes too. Nasty.

Try having a coworker, who only eats fish, bring in fish to work every single day and throws it in the microwave.

Just to be clear my comments about the Indian food has nothing do with ethnicity. Has to do with the smell of the food.
