You're like the mouse that keeps getting buzzed everytime it reaches for the cheese.

Dude, studies have been done on how people react to painful situations in their past.

That is really really sad. For that to be considered breaking news is a disgrace.

The general apathy towards the interrupted story is a gear-grinder as well.

When places offer less of something for more than it should be.

EX-Offering a foot long Sub for $6 or something, but then a 6 inch sub is $4.

Or a medium pizza being $8, but buying an individual slice is $2.50(where it'd take 4-6 individual slices to get the same amount as you're getting in the medium pizza)

I don't care if something is too much, I'd rather have too much and just keep it as leftovers than pay an unfair amount for something smaller.

                        That's business 101.

And you are doing what the stores want you to do if you are buying a full pizza or a 12 inch sub instead of the smaller one.

No doubt. Buying in bulk will pretty much always result in better prices.

                          Warehouse clubs thrive on this.

The supplier will always want to sell larger quantities of their product to distributors, thus the willingness to discount bulk orders.

It's definitely applicable on a smaller scale as well, as evidenced by the pizza example.

They want you to think "well, I might as well get the bigger one it's only $2 more."

                              Yep.

The more money for them offsets the difference in inventory to an insane degree.
