Has this happened to anyone else? I noticed it says "early release" on the file, which confuses me because I didn't purchase early release, I purchased the full game. It tried to direct me to the PS store to purchase the "full game" for $59.99. The game doesn't cost $59.99 though, this is very confusing. I deleted it and am trying to redownload it because obviously something screwed up but damnit I don't want to have to contact someone. Maybe it'll fix itself!

Had a $2,500+ charge show up on my credit card today -_- That's always fun. Luckily Discover is a badass company and already has the charge wiped out and a new account being made.

        What does LPT stand for?

        I'll assume it's not Lipton.

I had that happen with a package before Christmas. It went:

                  Miami - Atlanta - Huntsville (where I'm at) - Athens, Ga. - Memphis - Atlanta - Huntsville.

So it was in my city and crossed over me twice before being delivered.

Fed-Ex are maddening at times. I sent out a a shipment that was held up for days as they said the customs paperwork was missing. I faxed them copies but it still sat at the depot for a further few days. Eventually they sent the box back to me. The customs paperwork was on the box in the plastic ziplock Fed-Ex pouch.

Fed-Ex seems to be the worst of the big 3. Had packages two days in a row not get delivered, but the driver left attempted delivery notes. I was home both days, sitting 20 feet from the door. Had another package that needed a signature.

                          Spoiler

On Wednesday, it snowed around 1-2 inches and a good amount of it iced overnight. Next morning, around 9am in the sun, I'm going to work so there are some patches but you can tell what the worrisome parts are to avoid or be cautious around. People continually drove over the parts, slammed on the brakes, and then went sliding.

On the road right beside my workplace, the hill up is about 10% grade...the lady in front of me goes 8 mph so she starts spinning because she didn't get enough speed to go up the hill so now her vehicle can't get traction..then she hits the brakes because she has no traction which makes her slide.

I just shook my head...people down here have no clue how to drive.

Sounds like the issues I've been having with UPS on the last 2 packages I was having delivered that required signatures. A little background. I live in an apartment building that has a locked gate leading into a courtyard from which there 4 entrances into the building. Outside and right next to the gate there is an intercom with instructions on how to contact the residents to get them to come out and open the gate (you have to search through the list to find the name then enter the number that appears next to the name into the keypad to ring the resident's phone). There is also a board next to the intercom with each resident's last name and intercom number so the delivery people don't even have to search for the number using the intercom.

So, back in August I was expecting a package that was supposed to be delivered between something like 2-6 so i'm sitting in my apartment with my phone right next to me then finally I get an email from MyUPS saying my package was undeliverable because "customer wasn't home". Well, my phone hadn't rung all day and I had no missing calls. I go out to the intercom and sure enough there's an Info Notice from the UPS guy saying "customer not available" stuck to the intercom with a new delivery window for the next day. I wrote on the notice something like "Did you even try using the intercom? because my phone never rang". I even tested the intercom since the number it links to is my cell and it worked just fine though there is about 5 second delay between the time you start hearing the ringtone over the intercom and when my phone actually started ringing. Next day the delivery window comes and passes and again no phone call and I get another email from MyUPS saying my package couldn't be delivered and they would make 1 more attempt the next day. So the next day I wrote a longer note and stuck it to the 2 Info Notices but since the delivery window was only 1 hour and the weather was nice, I decided to just wait outside (with another guy who was apparently having the same issue) and finally got my package.

Fast forward to last week and I'm again expecting a package that was supposed to be delivered between 2 and 6. Though I was out during the early part of that window, I wasn't worried about missing the delivery because the UPS guy doesn't usually come to my building until after 5 and indeed I got back to my apartment and had no missed calls and my package was still out for delivery. Well, shortly before 6 I get an email from MyUPS saying something like "Delivery exception, package could not be delivered to address" and "Package will be delivered to local UPS Access point". Seriously? My phone never rang and I had no missed calls so the driver seemingly wasn't even trying to use the intercom. And it's not like he didn't see the intercom as it's rather hard to miss and the Info Notice was even ON the intercom. Furthermore, the fact that he immediately rerouted it to the local access point was potentially a major inconvenience to me as I can't drive, but fortunately that UPS store is right on Pitt campus and within walking distance or I could just hop on the Pitt shuttle to go down. Needless to say, I ended up getting on the UPS website and filing a complaint with them over that.
