I loved ATT Uverse. Would trade this Time Warner **** for Uverse any day.

Uverse Internet was stupidest thing I ever did. Cancelled it after bout 5 months and went back to Suddenlink cable Internet and my always good Directv.

I think I'm like the only person on earth who loves TWC. I have their highest cable package and 50MB internet for about $150/mo. This is after my promo pricing as well. I think that's pretty fair for what I'm getting.

I get 177MB down internet speed, HBO, Starz and phone service from Comcast for $185 a month.

Ya know what chaps my ***? When it snows just enough to make you have to shovel the sidewalk, but at the same time it snowed just little enough to where the shovel is nearly useless.

That is when you use a push broom to sweep that little layer of snow away.

                  Burns,

Go through AT&T social media's support. They're way better.

I went through the UVerse deal with AT&T's standard support last spring. They were awful. Their chat people closed the chat me; a supervisor had me call only to hang up on me. (I'm as polite as they come, so it wasn't because I was rude).

I complained on the AT&T forum, had a social media rep call me and she handled everything beautifully. I can PM you an email address if you want.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I've already ordered cable, thanks though.

They weren't hard to deal with, they just gave me crappy numbers that wouldn't work. Not sure if they lied, or the previous rep lied (or was mistaken), but I should have had him email me a copy of the offer. Without proof, I'm just a guy saying they offered me something.

When I first signed up, I had a problem with them not honoring the deal that phone rep said as well (it was the discounted price for a year and $450 rewards card for signing up), after a couple months I never got anything about the deal I called and dealt with them and they kept saying that I was wrong, the rep didn't say that, I must be mistaken, you either got the discounted price or the promo card. Ended up going through the BBB that time, and they relented, but it's just not worth fighting with them this time.

Not going to twist their arm, I'll just go TWC, pay less per month (even below their mistaken offer), have better internet, and get $350 for switching.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

                      That sounds familiar too.

A few years ago, about a month before my introductory promo was about to expire, I contacted their regular support via chat to see what deals I could get. The guy offered me a great deal and told me to contact them again when my intro promo ran out. He said he would note it in my account.

A month later, none of their agents knew anything about the deal I was offered. Fortunately, I had taken a screenshot of the chat with the offer. But I still had to jump through hoops to get it. Very frustrating.

I'm about to have to go through it again. I'm going to go the social media support route again and hope it goes as well as the last time.

I've posted about it a few times here but I had a great experience with Comcast's social media support when they lost a large payment. Online chat and phone calls were fruitless in advancing the issue past restoration of services and each new session/call was starting back at square one.

They were quick, efficient and effective. Not words you hear with Comcast customer support. I was impressed and quite frankly relieved when action was finally taken. It got to the point where we couldn't even pay if we wanted to because of hang-ups or disconnections on their end.

                        I went through Twitter FWIW.

People who need the clearance of the size of Texas before crossing a street. It is infuriating at times. Just ****ing go lady your car is faster than you think. You will make it! Could've made it there too! And there you could've went!! But no, no.. Let's wait until there isn't a car within a 20 mile radius to go.

Ordered some wireless headphones to work out with. Super excited to use them today when I saw the package in the mail as I was headed to the gym.

AND they need to be charged prior to use...
