Target has really short receipts I’ve noticed.

Rite Aid has super long receipts.

How about when a customer leaves the refrigerated/frozen case open after walking away at the grocery store? I think the glass doors are weighted to close automatically, but some Einstein was able to leave one of the refrigerated dairy case doors open today.

After my previously stated experience store employees, im not convinced it was a customer.

Some times the freezer door be broken and will stay wide open. I know at the grocery store I shop at, a couple of doors were like that. Eventually they got fixed though. Too many customers just walk away because they assume the door will automatically close. Which they do 99% of the time, but every once in a while they will break and remain open unless somebody physically close it.

I usually guide the door closed so it doesn't slam, I don't know why but I always feel bad about letting doors slam

How about just the other shoppers in general anymore at the stores.

I'm in the store the other day and I go down the isle with the pasta and sauce and there is this woman standing right where I want to get to and she is texting on her phone (of course.) Ok I'll wait, I mean how long does it take to send a text?

Well I guess for her a long time because after 30 seconds or so of standing there and her glancing up and looking at me a few times she still is texting and not moving. So I finally say "excuse me," and she looks at me and says "you don't have to have an attitude about it." I'm like "I didn't have an attitude about it, but maybe you could get off your phone for 5 minutes and pay attention when you're in the store."

So instead off just walking away she has to say I have an attitude again, which of course I did by then. So I turned to her and said, "lady you haven't seen freaking attitude yet." (I didn't say freaking, I used a different f-word which I'm sure you guys can figure out.) She finally just went away, which is what I wanted in the first place.

This happens to me a Costco all the time. When a freaking shopper stops right in the middle of the aisle (with those massive carts), blocking traffic both ways, just to stop and eat a ****ing sample. Irritating beyond words.

Last time I went I was getting the last item on my list (coffee). As I was going down the aisle there was a young couple with a kid. The dad was following the mom with the cart and she was kind of wandering like she couldn't decide on what she wanted. They were kind of in the way but the dad was doing his best to stay to the side while mom was all over the place. No big deal. We've all had trouble finding things. I I go to sneak by to get to the coffee I need another girl steps right there to grab hers. Again no big deal. She'll grab hers real fast and then I'll get mine. So I'm off to the side waiting for the her and the old lady comes out of no where, parks her cart side ways down the aisle, and barks at me "Excuse me I need you to move. I want that coffee." Now this was not said in a nice, polite way. This was said in a "get the **** out the way" way. I looked at her and was like, "Would you like me to run into this nice young girl up her", pointing to the girl in front of me, "Or should I push this mom out of my way", point behind me as the mom had camped out there looking at that brand. I then said, "Or you can chill the **** out and wait the 5 seconds it's going to take for the girl in front of me to move. You do realize you are not the most important person in this store correct? Oh and FYI your cart is now blocking others from getting by", as by now shoppers couldn't get by her cart that was still in the middle of the aisle. She just stared at me in disbelief that anybody would dare to call her out on her ****ing attitude. The girl in fornt of me grabbed her stuff and bolted. Probably because she was uncomfortable in the conversation happen lol. I moved forward grabbed my stuff and said, "You have a wonderful day you miserable piece of ****."

Working in retail I have zero patience for *******s when I'm not at work (well not really at work either but I have to hold it in) and the filter comes off very quick.

Don't even get me started on people bringing there damn dogs in a grocery store. Ugh.

When I’m in a store I’m on a mission. And I’m also very aware of my surroundings so I’m constantly swerving around people, moving out of people’s way as they come up behind or beside me, etc. Just because all these other clueless folk clog up aisles doesn’t mean everyone has to. We’re all on this rock man, have some courtesy and respect for others.

Every once in awhile these shopping tales work out. I'm at Kroger and only need a couple things, went to get cheese and a lady on one of those motorized cart things was parked right perfect in front of the cheese in a way that all possible reaching angles were blocked. Me being meek, waited a second to see if she would notice and move but she didn't (another glued to the phone situation), so I turned back and did a lap to the bread section to grab some tortillas, circled back around and she was still there. At this point I don't have anything left on my list, but I went and wandered around to the frozen section, kinda baffled at how long this lady has been stationed in that spot. Another lap, just slowly browsing around and I notice this burger sale on extreme special AND I had some digital coupon I didn't even know about! Score! Thanks lady, I never would've checked that spot if not for you! Lapped back around and cheese spot was clear

That is why I only go to the grocery store after a certain time and why I don't ever go on the weekend. Out here, I find Monday through Friday, after 3pm be the best time to go. The afternoon crowd be leaving and the store be way less crowded. Won't catch me grocery shopping on the weekend. Stores be packed on the weekend.

I usually ask to get by them in a way that disarms them. I'll say something like "Youre not going to slap me if i squeeze in here and grab some ketchup are you?" Or something half-humorous (at least to me. Thats usually debatable) Their response is usually a return joke or a series of apologies as they move out of my way. But occasionally they turn out to be just big jerkfaces.
