Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When attempting to plug a USB driver into some sort of device with an ambiguous entryway, I'm often 1-for-3.
Let's do a stupid hypothetical one. Let's say that in a sequel to Pulp Fiction, they open the film up with a suitcase that his an illuminated yellowish bulb inside of it.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I would still think Pulp Fiction is a great movie. What's in the case (or any other sequel revelations) has no bearing on that to me.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
This new captcha stuff is really getting annoying. Gone are the days of "enter this series of characters" like A5n5g3 and so on. Now you have to click on the images matching what it asks you. Like "select all pictures with cars in them".
What makes it frustrating is that once you select a picture, it loads a new picture, so you have to keep clicking until none of the pictures you need to click anymore. And despite that being the case so often, it says I'm wrong and I have to go through a whole new series again. It might even say "select all the photos with a road sign". It's nothing but an empty road with a stop sign, so I click the stop sign and somehow that's wrong.
Sometimes I can be going through several of these before finally getting through, it's so annoying and takes too much time.Comment

Obviously joking there, but seriously some of them are really hard to distinguish and make out. I guess computers are just getting smarter and smarter with CAPTCHA. I'd rather keep bots out than let people in honestly.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

It's the worst. Some aren't even obvious at all. Like there might be a black cat in that shot too, which might be a "sign" of something else.

I clearly click the only box that needs to be clicked and somehow I'm wrong.
I don't know what classifies as part of the picture. If there's 12 boxes and 99% of the sign is in 1, and a pixel or two is in another, do I select both those boxes? I've tried everything and nothing seems to be the proper way. It's luck at this point that it might take 2-3 tries vs 10-12.Comment

Y'all really have that much trouble with the images? It takes me about 10 seconds to click through and I'm good

I had enough trouble with the typing the characters ones when they would have all sorts of extraneous lines and splotches throughout them making some of the characters nearly illegible.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
