    My mom still uses AOL.

And it's one thing to like still have AOL as your primary e-mail... but she uses the software ("Welcome! You've got mail!") and browses with it!

I've been trying to get her to use Chrome for years. Even when she did at one point, she would sign onto AOL first because she has long been under the impression that you have to do that to then use Chrome thereafter (like back in the 56k days).

In other news, I logged onto my MySpace recently to try and find a photo that wasn't on my computer anymore, and boy... that place sure is different. I don't even know what MySpace is intended to be anymore. Go ahead and check it out, it's like not even meant to be social networking anymore. It's strange, I can't explain it.

Why would I intentionally withhold an Xmas list from her? Ugh

you have to remember who you're talking to, I'm the anxiety guy who is technologically disadvantaged, the best way for her to communicate with me is text or email (ironically my email actually is AIM haha)

it's just frustrating that she thinks I'm up to something because she's not receiving my email list for some reason, and then infers my helpful responses as me being a jerk.

I ended up forwarding the original email to my Dad, we'll see how it goes

bought one of those $2 boxes of chocolate covered cherries from WalMart. opened it up, everyone of them was busted.

it's just $2 but still: gears, grinded.

Not to get into the politics of healthcare or anything, but watching TV on Thanksgiving and sitting through ad after ad for drugs used to treat opiod addiction, breast cancer, heart disease, etc. The fact that stuff like that is advertised alongside toilet paper, toothpaste, MvDonalds, etc is just gross to me. That stuff should not be considered a commodity to be advertised, like I'm choosing between vacuum cleaners.

The car commercial where the kid snaps a picture of Santa bent over by the Christmas tree. The kid then threatens to post the pic on social media and Santa asks the kid what he wants. The kid ends up with a new car.

Normally, commercials don't annoy me to this point, but blackmailing Santa... this is what it has come to.

for whatever reason, this reminds me of Heineken's zero alcohol beer, I saw the commercial for it yesterday. guy sitting in his car drinking a cold one, cop comes up and gives him a ticket for drinking & driving. Guy explains it zero alcohol, cop points to sign, I guess it represented ''No Parking''. Really, a beer commercial poking fun of drinking & driving? bet that doesn't go over well with MADD

if the Monday after a 3 day weekend isn't bad enough, the one following a 4 day weekend is 10 times as bad. prepared to have my gears grinded all day long tomorrow.

I need to have a t-shirt made up:
I had one gear left, and you just grinded it

I don't deal with this one anymore. I just move their cart out of the way.

I recently got a Costco card and go on occasion. I really thought it would be better... It's not. And since the only option is a big *** cart everyone has one. I got in for some steak and wine and have to push it around in a dump truck.

grocery stores have become bumper cars, except instead of smashing into each other everyone haphazardly flies around and stops before the collision, awkwardly smiles, says "scuse me" and resumes haphazardly zooming around

People use shopping carts the same way they drive.

Never aware of their surroundings, feel the need to swerve around people to pass them, and when pulling out into an intersection (or in this case, coming out of an aisle), they just go full speed not even checking if anyone is coming. Same with those passing the aisles, they dont slow down or even look to see if anyone is pulling out.

And don't get me started on how people walk. I was standing in one spot one time, close to the racks at a store, theres maybe a good 20 feet of empty space between my back and the wall behind me. Despite that, people walk literally an inch behind me, almost bumping into me, simply because they're too lazy or just too stupid to take a step sideways to avoid me. They literally had 20 feet of empty space, but they choose to brush up against me instead.
