Same here. They were shooting them off until about 3 AM this morning. Normally its quiet where I live, but every year around the 4th of July it sounds like a damn battlefield.

People are selfish, they only think of themselves around the 4th.

They don't think about neighbors who might have to work the next day, have small children or pets/dogs that are terrified of loud noises.

Luckily, on the 3rd of July, the last fireworks around our area happened at 10 minutes to midnight. Prior to that, I was holding onto to our dog to comfort her.

Eh, you sound like the selfish one here. Your neighbors should wrap up a celebration that happens once a year early because you might have to work, have a small child, or god forbid your poor dog suffers trauma (the worse of the worse complaints to put it nicely) because of fireworks?

Someone a street over was shooting fireworks off at 4am. That's not a typo. From 4-440 it was almost non-stop. Called it in to 911 and they said I was the 10-15th person to call it in. Not sure if they ran out or a cop finally showed up. Hopefully whoever it was had warrants and ended up getting arrested.

I honestly think I’ll live if someone in my neighborhood chooses to shoot of fireworks well into the night once a year.

I'm guessing you didn't have neighbors shooting off fireworks at 2-4 in the morning.

Or you're one of the ones shooting off fireworks off at 2-4 in the morning.

My neighbors shoot off fireworks for literally every holiday, I just sleep through them. It's never been a big deal to me.

I'm all about letting people have their fun. But at some point there is a thing called common courtesy.

It doesn't bother you that's great. Not sure why you feel the need to attack/insult anyone who doesn't want to be awake in the middle of the night because their dogs are whining/barking due to being scared, kids being terrified and awake in the middle of night, or bothered by the loud noises themselves and can't sleep and have to work the next day.

Just be thankful you don't have a one year old trying to sleep and a dog that wants to destroy everything when she hears loud noises. Or a combat veteran that gets traumatic flashbacks from sudden loud noises.

And fourth of July fireworks are understandable. Not first, second, third, fifth, sixth, and seventh of July fireworks.
