No, it doesn't mean my life is boring, I just don't care one bit about what people did over the weekend or letting everyone know that I had pasta and salad for dinner or something.

I have a Twitter with a rando name that I use for goofing around and random conversation, but will never have a Facebook/Instagram. That is about the limit of my social media.

When in a movie or series (or whatever) a character is using a cellphone, computer, watching TV etc. and instead of recreating the real image in the device they superimpose a fake one. Makes me want to go De Niro on them. Mother****ers, if you can't recreate it for real then DON'T DO IT.

Heh, I don't like how most TV/movie characters (especially villains and such) can't end a phone conversation with "Bye" or "See ya."

I mean of course it would sound weird for whatever reason, but it seems unnatural in real life. I'd go: "Did that ****er just hang up on me? I didn't know we were done with the conversation!"

Those types of things help, but still not perfect.

You can't technically be called by someone with a spam call within your own country, but seems like internet phones in some other country can still do it, and they work with someone else within the country itself.

I occasionally get a call from same spammer speaking some other language. I have call blocking, but all that does is send those calls straight to voicemail (which they end up filling up).

Most annoying is the air duct cleaning ones.

What governments should be doing is coming down extremely hard on anyone involved in these things. Fines mean nothing because they make way more in scams than fines they get

And what's worse is the ones targeting the elderly. Something really needs to be done about that. To think that there's people calling and threatening old people while they pretend to be the government looking for money, or pretending to be some furnace person who goes in their house and steals stuff is sickening.

I get random spam/robo calls, have for years now where it sounds like someone is on speaker phone and waits out the full length of the voicemail.

People who post news but don't link to the sources.

Like: "X got traded to Y".

And no link. Like, is it that much trouble to say where you got that from?

I have always been taught to "show my work" so it bothers me and it feels inconsiderate when someone doesn't do it. And don't bring me that the "it is hard to do it from the app" or whatever, plenty of people do it and they don't seem to be posting from the app.

I used to be like that but have moved on.

I’ve learned here who to trust and it’s easy enough to do a quick check to confirm.

                        I get it though.

The word "Community", when used by companies as part of their slogan/marketing strategy. This word lost all its meaning completeltly.

First of all, every time I hear it, I don't understand what they mean. I thought maybe I was wrong about the meaning, so I checked online and it's what I thought it means: "a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common".

These days so many companies use it: "Part of the Community since..."; "Helping the Community"; "Building Stronger Communities"......

What is this load of crap? What the hell are they talking about? What community are they talking about? The people who buy their products? Human beings? Every one who lives on Earth?

This is such nonesese, and every time I see it I know I want nothing with this company.

It always reminds me Jerry saying on Seinfeld: "All these years I'm living in a community, I had no idea"

The texture of both is the problem. And I've become less and less of a fan of ketchup through the years, so I blame the ketchup.

Base my opinion and expertise on the fact that I've recently discovered the 5 star culinary cuisine that is PB&J sandwhich with Cheese-Its.
