Nobody knows what Yeild means apparently. They installed a round about at an intersection by my house about a year and a half ago. Holy hell the amount of times I've almost been hit while in the circle blows my mind. Nobody wants to stop. I've even had people honk at me. ****ing ridiculous!!! [emoji1751]

For even more more context, this video used to be featured on the Sports Illustrated for Kids website. Why? I do not know.

This YouTube upload also seems to be slightly altered, but that's okay. You'll get the gist of it.

              More specifically:

              Green means go

Yellow means go quick before it's too late

Red means slow down and then go anyways, unless you're a bike, in which case, you become a pedestrian and ride past the sidewalk through the intersection and return to being back on the road

While true in real life (sadly), he's also referencing the Randy Moss Driving School video.

Nothing worse than those last few cars running the red on a left turn, blocking the intersection for that extra few seconds.

The problem with driving gear grinders is that all those aggressive drivers our there think that the safe/defensive drivers are the problem. In reality the rest of us have to watch them like they are 2 year olds who just learned how to walk. Except we are kind of rooting for them to lose control and hit a wall or something.

Or that feeling when someone goes out of their way to change lanes to get past you, go speeding by, just for you to meet up with them in the other lane at the same red light.

I do wonder what the mindset is of those people who feel like people driving the speed limit (or up to 10% above the limit) are going too slow.

Latest in the driving gear grinders, people in parking lots.

In this specific instance, I mean being parked next to someone and their car door opens and it bangs into yours. Not just that, but I was in my car when it happened. It's one thing if it's because of wind, although the wind ones usually cause the most damage, but blatantly opening your door knowing you don't have much space and hitting the car next to you. Those kinds of people are beyond stupid.

At the same time, cars should all be made with doors that go up or sideways instead of outwards like that.

I don't mean like those luxury cars, even basic ones I know of have the passenger doors in the back that just slide open. Driver doors should be like that too.

Is it a thing where once you're seated inside your car, you can't reach the handle unless you lift yourself back up again?

Just get one of these things and you're good.

I mainly just meant those van doors. Cars, and driver doors should be like that too.

When someone dies and let’s say their in their 60s, people will be like “Damn, what a young age to die at”

50+ is old, it’s ok to say that.
