Like they eat/drink some of it (without paying for it) and in addition leave it on the shelf for someone else to clean up? Some people have no shame.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Not related to this, but recently I saw two cars turning left. The car in front was turning, then waited halfway as there was a crowd of people crossing the street at the intersection.
The car behind that car started honking like crazy and almost drove AROUND that front car (it's only a single lane to turn left so they would've swerved on the other side of the road to get around the car) WHILE people were crossing in front of that car which is why that car wasn't moving!
Like how stupid do you have to be?
And the week before that I saw someone honking at a car for not driving through an intersection during the exact same time an ambulance with their sirens on was going through the intersection. You're getting mad at a car for yielding for an ambulance with their sirens on? Are you stupid.
And a car drove past a school bus with its stop sign out and lights flashing.
People are just stupid.Last edited by Majingir; 03-05-2025, 10:17 PM.Comment

I don't think it's stupidity so much as people being selfish, self-centered, and self-absorbed; though they aren't necessarily mutually exclusiveSteelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

I don't mean stupid as in they don't know any better.
I mean stupid as in they're so oblivious to what's going on around them.Comment

Well, there really is no junk mail. Oh everybody wants to get a check or a birthday card but it requires just as much manpower to deliver it as their precious little greeting cards!Comment

Not like you got something from the Sam's or Costco food court area and just left it on a shelf. Talking about people legit ripped open say a pack of cookies or took one can out of a pack.
Been seeing this around here more. To the point where parents were recording cars and posting their license plates.Last edited by LambertandHam; 03-06-2025, 01:06 AM.Comment

Not only this, but they'll also bring in outside food/drinks and leave the wrappers or cups everywhere for someone else to clean up.Comment

Drink cooler doors left open at convenience stores. Just about every single time I go into a convenience store, it seems like there is almost always one cooler door left open. And usually its the one I want a cold drink from, not a tepid drink.T-BONE.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Insurance, insurance, insurance, insurance, insurance.
Someone hit my wife's car about a month ago. In a parking lot. They left the scene. We had to file with our insurance, and it's taking longer than expected to fix the car. Her rental car policy will be up in a few days and we tried to get an extension due to circumstances out of our control (part of that being the lengthy back and forth for the adjuster/body shop), the adjuster said "the circumstances are out of our control too". Funny, I thought that was the purpose of insurance in the first place.Comment
