How is MassNole's situation really different from couples who swing. It's not normal, but its not wrong or anything. Everyone has a different set of morals.

Its not wrong if both people agree to it. Weird? Yes. Different? Yes. But wrong is too strong. If their arrangement helps make their relationship stronger and more successful, how is it wrong? You feel your relationship is stronger by placing restrictions on your relationship like no dancing w/ the opposite sex. I feel that that restriction is too much for any relationship I would be in but I wouldnt say that it is wrong. If it helps make your relationship stronger I'm all for it whether it be restrictions like no dancing or the freedom to sleep with other people.

Have any of you married men ever been tempted by a fellow female coworker? I'm happily married, and have 6 month old daughter. However, the other day I had a very friendly conversation (1st time I have talked to her) with a very attractive coworker, and something happened....it may just be in my head, but I think there was a spark. She is in her early 30's, and she isn't married. I will have to go really out of my way to make contact with her, but I don't think she would mind if I tried. Needless to say I can't get her out of my freaking mind! You know how it is...you're going about your day to day business, and then bam! Your boat gets rocked. I've been feeling some crazy emotions. I'm a very dedicated family man, and this sort of thing was totally unexpected. I'm usually very composed, and have everything together....but damn this chick rocks! Any suggestions to help me get through this? Cheating on my wife isn't one of them! I think I'm getting weak!

And have I ever been tempted? Yes, I am a man. Would I ever cheat? Hell no. To me, a lifetime of love is greater than one night of pleasure.

And if you are talking about "dating" this co-worker and/or seeing her on more than one occasion, then you and your wife need to sit down and have a long heart to heart talk. In fact, you may want to do that anyways.

I've been tempted like this before, but was able to withstand the pressure to spit the game that was bubbling forth beneath the surface. This secretary at my job has been gaming at a brotha for a minute, and I know that she wishes her man would do things I do... If I was single, I would get all up in her guts if given the opportunity. I comfort myself with knowing that if I was to put forth effort and game, I could take this broad. But in the end run, I know it's not worth it... I've got a dimepiece of a wife, who has been there with a nukka through thick and thin, and given me two beautiful sons... No trim in the world (besides Alicia Keys, lol) would cause me to give that up.

I also remember the experience of one of my homeboys, who stepped out on his girl with some jumpoff he met on the train... He said the very second he milked out, he wanted the broad to split... He had no desire to be around her, in fact, he was disgusted by her, and wanted to be around his girl. He found out the hard way that it wasn't worth it.

Yeah I'm very reluctant to go throwing my judgment around on other people's private lives. If it ever gets to the point to where it compromises children, then I'll be more apt to say "well that was just wrong". But if your wife gives you the green light or vice versa, well hey that's on you guys. But like I said, I'm very skeptical about a functional marriage in that scenario.
